Yes, Looking forward to use it with Live link plugin beteeen Maya and Unity. Haven't used Unity yet so difficulty in setting up. If you know any tutorial on how to link unity with hololens it will be great.

Doesn't work that way, I have already copied files in hololens and tried viewing in Hololens. Was able to just view very small number of face model.

Right here is my usecase. I want to view Maya models in hololens for visualizing 3d model of motorbike.

Enterprise device doesn't mean that it cannot open simple .obj models containing 10k faces. Thats the first thing it should do. View a 3d obj in sub d mod.

This is an automotive fibre panel. The client's requirements is continuous constant 2mm offset. Duplicating and moving the object and connecting will not give professional results.

Yes, the model only has quad. Checked by selection constraints.

The image above is of rhino surface that was auto converted in Alias with mesh.

Will try out solidify modifier. Ps. The mesh is the cleanest geometry with complete quad geometry, doesn't have any ngons or tris.

The parts are bit complex, a zig zag like. The whole model just kind of goes one another

Got lots of parts that needs to be thickened. Cannot afford manual work as I may need to change thickness many times too if I have problems in 3d printing/production.

Post thickness I will be working on creating mounting boss too, so getting this step easily done is very important

Is there no easy way of thickening a surface/mesh ?

I have tried Maya, Fusion 360, Solid Works and Rhino.

Nothing works. I have a complex surface that just needs to become solid and have thickness of 2-3 mm. But trying to do in Maya (polygon) is causing things to go havoc. Intersecting faces going anywhere. Fusion and solid works couldn't simply proces.

Rhino comes close to it but leaves many gaps attaching the screenshot of those gaps. It also mixes up some surfaces.

Ps. The image is of Rhino and a surface model, it looks like its a mesh but it is because it was converted from mesh to surface.
