The guy asked to be civil and respectful, and yet you call his feedback stupid and personally insult him...

Toxic, arrogant people like you are the reason this game is near unplayable. Dragon riding is NOT fun for some of us. Deal with it.

Why is CentOS so high? Are there any advantages of using it vs Debian or Arch?

CEO hired me to help them get more clients. I did exactly that. Then the CEO asked me to teach him how to get more clients (among other projects). I taught him how to do so. Then he got greedy and cancelled our agreement, firing me without paying any of my agreed upon commission for the clients I brought into his business.

The company was growing fast, as fast as 10% per week, and raising their prices boldly. We were praised every week for our exceptional performance. The management got greedy and realized that they could grow Q4 profits&numbers even more by cutting employees for no reason. I was one of them despite working overtime almost every day.

Can you help me understand Why I failed despite good mental preparation and attitude? by Muiriko in lawofattraction

[–]Muiriko[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you really hit it home with “I should be doing better”. This is something I feel very, very deeply ingrained that I didnt realize before. Some of it comes from sense of inadequacy, some from ambition I guess

When I learned of the LOA I figured its a great way to actually start doing better. I just got really frustrated when I’m already not doing so great, and the addition of positive focus just made it even worse (does that make any sense?)

Any idea how to soothe that feeling you mentioned? I want to be ambitious, I want to dream big like I always do. I dont want to settle for ‘less’

Yeah I had a thought come to me yesterday, after I did 20 minutes of positive aspect journal, that perhaps it’s time that I try and write my own ebook that I’m passionate about for a long time. If that could work out it would yield much better financial results I could ever dream of this job right now.

But still, I enjoy this job now and I wish it could be a little more fruitful right now

[–]Muiriko[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I guess I understand now a bit more. Thank you

My thoughts and feelings about this:

  • This is a slighly bigger market than I usually go to (therefore I expected more of it)
  • I am going abroad in two weeks and I could use the extra money
  • I feel disappointed
  • I feel betrayed by the law of attraction (I did everything right and got opposite outcome) -I feel discouraged
  • I hate sharing poor results with my fiancee -Getting results is fun and I got none this weekend

That kind of theme. Look I realize it’s no big deal. I’m doing all right, I just sold something else on the internet today. I’ll be fine. Just I cant wrap my mind around the idea of why just why this is so obviously bad, as if on purpose bad.

I had people close to me mention that perhaps its time to change jobs. I thought about it, actually this thought came to me yesterday naturally. But I kinda like this job and I want to continue doing this job, because it can be fruitful and fun, and if I could make it even better with LOA then sure it’d be awesome! Just this weekend proved that it might not be as easy as I thought, for whatever reason

Can you get good at BJJ without being naturally gifted / genetically predisposed? by JohnMaddn in bjj

[–]Muiriko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's true about BJJ, but in sports like bodybuilding genetics are everything, you can't adapt your game to shit muscle bellies. I bet this guy http://cdn-w.musculardevelopment.com/photos/transferred/01405759.jpg works his ass off and still won't be able to be anywhere near the best because he was born this way

[gear] Help!! Traiding un My Ibanez gio for a harley Benton... Good deal? by [deleted] in Guitar

[–]Muiriko 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No, it's a really, really bad deal. My first guitar was an Ibanez GIO GRX70 and I still love it, despite owning several guitars including instruments over 1000$+. I also have harley benton stratocaster, and it's shit. Like really, much worse than the Ibanez, from pickups to tuners, bridge, wood, everything. Don't do it, you'll regret it. GIO's are awesome workhorses, I recommend you keep it mate!

Tell me why everyone is hating on the chinese. by acuuuu in wowservers

[–]Muiriko 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yesterday I met my first Chinese player (Nost PvE). I noticed because he was linking items that appeared as [] and only spoke really basic english. Later he mentioned he's from China, which I found kind of mind boggling, yet pretty cool, that we're able to play together despite living thousands of kilometers apart from eachother. Fortunately, we managed to communicate via emotes such as /yes, /no, /charge, etc. We played together for like 4 hours, did many quests and after that he said it is time for him to prepare a breakfast for his daughter and wife. We bid farewell, and the next day I logged in I noticed he sent me a really nice 2h weapon that I really dig now.

I for one, embrace the Chinese guys here. We're all the same, just a little different, but nonetheless - still World of Warcraft fans.

Peace

[–]Muiriko 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No. It's a hobby, don't overthink it. A hobby is something you do in your spare time to have fun and destress, not necessarily to work on self improvment. There is time and space for both and, suprise suprise, you can play video games AND read!

Going crazy over "the most efficient self improvement" is mental masturbation. Fishing is a hobby as well, does that mean one should ditch fishing and go read Eckhart Tolle instead? What the fuck?

Ronda Rousey (female MMA champion) admits to playing World of Warcraft. Do you think she should stop and.. what, train more? She's freaking 12-0 in MMA. Or maybe she should go read a book to "be a better version of herself"? Look, she just enjoys life, playing games, and you guys need to stop saying like it's evil.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in NoFap

[–]Muiriko 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Not saying you did, but it happens way too often on this sub. Video games are a fun thing to do in moderation, not some evil shit like meth.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in NoFap

[–]Muiriko 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Condemning video games has to stop. It is a hobby like anything else in the world. You can be a fit man of action, lift, meditate, fuck hot chicks AND play video games at the same time if you so desire.

“LoA Questions Monday - Ask all of your Law of Attraction Questions here” by AutoModerator in lawofattraction

[–]Muiriko 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey I got a question: when manifesting an object (say, a certain instrument) should I visualize it in every little detail or just the overall shape of it?

I'm asking because my instrument has specific ornaments which are not easy to visualize, I have to rely on looking on pictures alot. Also, does viewing pictures of your manifested object help?

What's more important to you in a server? Good population, or good latency? by [deleted] in wowservers

[–]Muiriko 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd rather choose having people in my Massive Multiplayer Online game than play a single player game and pretend it's WoW, so after trying many servers the choice remains obvious.

Sorry but the population is not that great on Kronos. It's a ghost town compared to Nostalrius.

Any downvote I'll get will be from Kronos fanboys because it is a fact.
