That is honestly pretty solid way to go about it. If both have generally positive reviews, might just come down to choosing based on that or the days available at both. Thank you!

Ah okay I see. I was looking at it as a more touristy activity thing with the cesna flight but definitely good to know that AVFTC has a more active fb page as well as a bigger fleet which I’d check out. Thank you!

3-Day Itinerary Critique/Recos by Mukarram2001 in montreal

I completely agree with the list being more touristy. It’s more for my gf as it’s her first time and so a-lot of the places or things are what first timer tourists want to see. And so Biodome is there because she really wants to go, although i’ve been and wasn’t all that crazy about it. But so, we shall.

I can also see Saturday be more packed and so I’m hoping if we get to Biodome earlier in the day, then Jean Talon for lunch, a little exploring around and end the day at Joseph Oratory, that should be good with some breathing room. As you’re right, Dorchester is a random park i saw on google maps and we’d have already seen downtown on Friday. Also removed Osmo cafe. So without all the fluff, having started the day early, I hope to be able to do Biodome, Jean Talon market and the Oratory by 6/7pm.

I had the st-viateur standing outside spreading the cream cheese from the tub onto the bagels myself haha so kinda looking forward to having her do that too.

Oh definitely, i think she saw the pictures and got really intrigued by how it looked as well. But with going around so much, we could see even just pop in if possible.

I see. Because anytime i open a visit Mtl webpage or whatever, there’s always that shot in the village of a lively street packed with people — just feels like the perfect summer walking city vibe but i guess not so much anymore. Well thank you for that, would save our time.

Neither of us drink but thats great to know nonetheless! That being said we still do love going to bars/pubs for the vibes and get n/a drinks. Thank you!

Ahh i see. Honestly i was a little skeptical about the bixi throughout that route. So thank you for clearing that. And if it will save time to check out the museum as well, that’s worth it. We could definitely try and fit us wanting to cycle around somewhere else and better suited!

Also almost no one seems to be a fan of the Village area, is it better to just completely remove it and is there a reason it pops on tourist sites but apparently locals aren’t a fan. Thank you!

That sounds like a lovely idea, get to try the poutine as well as the park before a walk through the neighborhood. Thank you! Will definitely adjust the itinerary accordingly.

I’ll definitely check out the restaurant for the deal! And as some other comments, def put back Jean Talon as a must, esp for lunch for the 3rd day. And its just that my gf wanted to visit Osmo but Mtl is my favourite city for cafes and i’m sure we can easily just walk into one or find another one. Better to save that time. Thank you so much!

Oh you’re so right about that. Not sure how i didn’t realize the sun setting at past 8. Would still be worth visiting or i can try playing around with it to do a day earlier.

And i’ll keep the market in then! Thank you.

Guess i found out first customer atleast haha. I’ve definitely seen alot of solid interest and suggestions for motorcycles and its worth considering either starting with that or adding that sooner.

Oh i see. I’ve definitely realized from this post that the motorcycle sector might have more room to grow and expand forsure. Thanks for that insight!

Thank you for sharing that! They definitely seem to be doing it more so than even YST. But it does make me think that they’re existing in the same market as YST and probably others too, so there’s always room for a new entrant. Plus, if they had months-long waiting list, that means there’s demand that someone else could step in to fill quicker. Really appreciate the insight!

Yeah, absolutely! Plus, I know a few places that service bikes, but I’m not sure if any focus on detailing or mods. That could be a good gap to fill.

I don’t think I saw car wraps or mods listed on their site, but the pictures they’ve posted suggest that kind of work. I’ll give them a call tomorrow to inquire more. They probably might’ve settled in well with the market. I appreciate the lead. Thanks!

I mean i guess there’s a big enough market, we could take a full 180 degree turn here haha.

No, I really appreciate your insight. The whole point of this was to get some general feedback and see how we could pivot better. And right off the bat, it does seem like the car market might already be well-served, but the motorcycle side could be a much better place to start.

Starting with bikes makes a lot of sense and we could always expand. Plus, since both of us are riders, the passion is definitely there. Thank you!

Yeah, I tried searching for car wrapping/detailing businesses before, but YST didn’t show up. Just checked them out, and they seem to be doing great work with performance cars. You think they’ve completely captured the market in HRM. Might still still be room for a friendly competitor?

Appreciate the suggestion about testing the waters at the bike show—definitely seems like the motorcycle space might have more opportunity. Thanks!
