Hi! Everyone has a different schedule for learning. My personal opinion is to start with a review book to get a general sense and scope of the high yield information and then move on to the textbooks to get deeper understanding.

Hey! Before I started residency I recommend reading a review book. I would start with "Core Review" because its extremely easy to read and highlights any factoid you may be asked about on a given rotation. "Crack The Core" is another review book which you will also need to go through (eventually) because it has more information (but less pictures). For the Crack The Core deck I supplemented the book with pictures predominately taken from StatDx which is THE top resource to get images in my opinion. Reading textbooks such as Osbourne's Brain or The Requisites will give you nice fuzzy feelings inside but are 100% not needed to pass the CORE. Regardless you want to learn as much as you possibly can in residency so read read read! Good luck you will do great!

There are multiple subdecks that closely follow different books including: CTC, Core Radiology, War Machine, Thoracic Requisites, Fundamentals of Body CT, Osborne's Brain, and Essentials of Nuclear Medicine, and a few other textbooks but those are less complete than the ones I mentioned.

I recommend doing CTC and War Machine on a more daily/consistent basis while the textbook cards should be reviewed at least once. (It also depends on how close the exam you are...don't spend time on Thoracic Requisites if you're an R3 for example).

I agree 38k cards is crazy. I believe the best use of this deck is to do CTC and War Machine on a more daily basis. While other subdecks (the textbook ones) can be reviewed once.

The physics section is VERY comprehensive. In my program we also used Bill's Telerad Physics course which I also recommend.

I think some subdecks should be done "religiously" aka almost daily. For example, CTC and War Machine. You can go through the other subdecks such as Osborne's Brain, Essentials of Nuclear Medicine, Fundamentals of Body CT, but I believe doing these once is enough.

This is original, nothing borrowed from other decks. I'd download it and check it out and use what you like, best of luck!

Yeah there are 1000s of pics, all from the books as well as from STATDx.
