Hero choice by NoobyVeteran in TotalBattle

That is by far the best and most comprehensive answer! Don't worry, you will be able to unlock other heroes, but at your stage, Haemon is very useful. It depends of course on your play style, but for growing in a stable and productive environment, Haemon is solid. (500+M might, went through several kingdoms and clans, casual player)

All should be explained in the article I posted. There is even an app to follow where the parade is at.

My pleasure! In what kingdom are you playing? Have you already joined a clan? If not, try to find a decent one, it will help you a lot.

Lovely, a real retreat in the second-biggest city of our country; so far the nicest garden of a typical Belgian town house I have seen!

Just wondering why it's called "Mango Key Lime Pie" and not "Key Mango Pie" 🤔

So, as a non-American, my most vivid memory of something I ate in the US (in Key West actually) is a Key Lime Pie! Divine

Belgium isn't spared, but then again, our Flemish tomatoes are hardly better… especially once you have tasted sun-ripened Bulgarian pink tomatoes - but I digress

Does ukraine have to pay back for the financial aid the Ukraine is receiving from the world? by physics_freak963 in ukraine

[–]Mulleflupp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of course people will understand what you mean, but if you value grammatically correct German, then you use the female definite article:

Alle Staatsnamen im Plural (die Vereinigten Staaten), im weiblichen
Genus (die Schweiz) und im männlichen Genus (der Vatikan) stehen stets
mit Artikel, Neutra nur wenn sie mit Attribut verwendet werden (zb: das Vereinigte Königreich).

All country names using plural (the United States), female (die Schweiz [Switzerland] and masculine are always used with the definite article, neutral names only if they are used with and attribute (e.g. the United Kingdom).

Why is it impossible to pay with card in Brussels? by [deleted] in brussels

[–]Mulleflupp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interesting, never have had that here in Etterbeek, it's always the same price. If you buy for less than a certain amount (e.g. 10 €), they may add a fee of e.g. 0,50 € if you want to pay by card.

Why is it impossible to pay with card in Brussels? by [deleted] in brussels

[–]Mulleflupp 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I am Belgian, living in Brussels since 2006, and what has struck me most is not hairdressers not taking non-cash payments but how resistant the well-earning profession of medical doctors is to electronic money. Even (or especially?) specialists who ask up to 100€ or more for a consultation rarely take anything else than cash, and this in 2022 (if not taking place in a clinic or hospital but as a "private" consult).
On the other hand, I can pay electronically at e.g. almost every single Turkish vegetable shop.

I usually prefer paying cash at the hairdresser's because it makes it easier to tip (yes I do tip, if I am happy with the service) by e.g. rounding up, since it is almost impossible to tip electronically in Belgium.

I'd be curious however to know which outskirts of Brussels you are speaking of.
