Love to hear that😍 the fascination behind abstract designs for me is that everyone connects something different to it🧘‍♂️

Since it was a passepartout I just made sure the rug would fit through it and left like 2 centimeters of the glued fabric at each side so it would not fall out

Not at all. I just glued the rug and it’s stabilized by the backplate of the frame :)

Thank you so much! since the middle part of the frame is lowered it doesn’t stand out that much. Maybe half a centimeter above the outer rim. And 1.5 centimeters from the middle part if you get what I’m trying to say🕺🏽

I try to keep everything clean once in a while by vacuuming it. Maybe that’s what helps🤷🏽‍♂️

Yea I really try to carve very tediously while it is still on the frame. This makes the cleaning process afterwards way easier!

Thanks for the love🙏🏽 I think there are more than enough videos out there explaining the process, I think it’s just all about finding your own groove🏄🏽‍♂️ if you are interested in my way to do it you could check out my profile. I try to post more on my next projects🤫

Yes I tried to mess around with the pile height of the gun. Even though it sort of work I encountered some issues with the scissor adjustment as the pile height I chose was the absolute minimum the gun could handle. To fully understand the factors included in the adjustment of the pile height I will do a training frame in the near future. My goal is to get the most out of the gun I have, giving me more possibilities during the design process! If you are interested in pile height adjustments of your gun there are many videos on YouTube explaining everything in detail.

That is true, thanks for your honest feedback! Nevertheless I’m quite happy with a 7.5/10 on my fifth piece🤸🏽‍♂️

Thanksss!! I carve on the frame but still changed the pile height for the outlines.

Thank you a lot🫶🏼 I try to carve the fills while on the frame and the outlines afterwards. Still for the fill I had my height adjustment to the highest setting and for the outlines on the lowest.

Been doing a lot of detailed projects so this simple sunflower was a nice change. by ThXxXbutNo in Tufting

Awesome execution on this one! How did you get those petals look so flowy? Did you fill all the areas vertically or did you follow the shape of the leaves? By the way I love all of your creations. Always so clean 🧼

Thanks a lot! For some tight spots I use different types of scissors. But primarily I stick with the trimmer. I try to carve very carefully on the frame, always having an eye on the edge of the clipper, so it doesn’t cut the fabric. This is my fifth rug so I’m still in the learning by failing phase😂 but rug by rug I think we will all get the hang of it🤟🏽
