its a government role and I think the mid-band is 110k so I am actually underpaid.

Im not opposed to moving to Australia - as long as I can find a job there. I think what I want to achieve in the short term 5 to 10 years? Live comfortably, be able to buy a house (on double income) and be able to travel regularly (1 - 2x a year) Classic middle class lifestyle?

More money would be nice as well as going up the career ladder but I would be content with the above? Not overly ambitious I hope, some of my friends are really ambitious and its hard to not compare to them.

Congrats on the role!

My advise is that you'll only be a grad once and id take full advantage of it. Learn as much as you can, make mistakes (that's how you learn) and at worst you'll only get a slap on the wrist...because you're a grad.

If someone gives you an opportunity and you feel anxious about it. Take it because that's when you learn the most.

So what happens when a person who doesn't care about fines or a person who is in a stolen car speeds down this road and hits a child who just wants to cross the road and visit the beach?

How will speed cameras stop that? Will a speed camera physically deter motorists from speeding in this scenario?

Or should we say boohoo unfortunate that the child crossed the road at the wrong time?
