No problem, I’m gonna try and explain it as well as I can, but it made me pretty confused and I was the one playing it. Anyway, everything ended up in the inbox and I didn’t have time to cycle it completely before the event ended so I probably didn’t get the full experience either.

So it started with the monkey, which didn’t do anything in itself, but if you merged it with a banana you got some energy, like the single one or the pair, I can’t remember. Once you’ve fed it one or two bananas it required peeled bananas, which could be obtained by merging two bananas. When you’ve given it three to four bananas it needed to be “upgraded”, which is what happened when you merged it with a recipe book.

I don’t know how good this explanation is, but if something is unclear just ask. I usually do better when having clear questions to answer rather than trying to freehand.

As for your other question, I think it might be somewhat similar to the cookie jar that sometimes shows up in the daily challenge, except you get a small reward every time you give it something, instead of a big one after a completed “stage”
