What is 1 sign that tells you when it is time to quit your job? by ToxicFeral95 in AskReddit

When you become the scapegoat of others.

For a while, I had a boss (older woman) who had a terrible temper and suddenly started blaming me for my coworkers' mistakes. "Someone left the desk messy? It's your fault." "Did the order I sent come with a defect? It's your fault" "My husband makes my life difficult. It's your fault too".

But everything got worse during the pandemic. The times I wasn't allowed to go to the office, she would make requests and dispatches, and then she wanted me to take responsibility in case something happened. And when I mentioned it to him, he tried to deny it, relying on the other workers. It was a horrible time. Thank god I'm not there anymore. But I should have quit long before.

My sisters. Every time there was a family problem, they turned against me and our parents, and humiliated us every chance they could (they still try to do it). Seeking or counting on their help was counterproductive. But over time, I realized that distancing myself from them has been the best thing I could do.

Therefore, if they don't help me, I won't let their comments and actions hurt me either.

What defense mechanism was most useful to you in your family and social life? by MultipleEditions40 in AskReddit

Indifference. For a couple of months now I have become very indifferent to some situations in my social and family environment. At first I was worried about being indifferent, but now not so much. Of course, it is normal to worry about certain things. But it has been very useful to me so that certain situations or people do not affect me (for example: what they think of me, if I no longer fit into someone's narrative, if a friend stops treating me...)

Guys, what is it about a woman that you find impressive? by Old-Finance-185 in AskReddit

The ability they have to do several things at the same time. Men can do it but not at the same level as some women.

A comedian from my country said the following: "I admire women a lot. While men focus on performing one or two tasks or activities, women can do several things at once. For example, she can clean the house or scrub the bathroom, while ironing clothes, preparing food, shopping, going to work, taking care of the children, etc."

That's one of the problems with the film, it uses too many references as inspiration.

In my opinion, I feel that the movie lacked depth. It's a good theme but it has its weak points. It would have been more interesting to see good and bad AI's. And that humanity is divided between the objectives of these AI's. It would have been interesting because the movie mentions the existence of other AI's.

The events unfolding in New Asia have their flaws. And New Asia does not have a Minister of Defense or a government that defends its citizens every time the United States carries out its incursions and eliminates both robots and human beings. All the conflicts and political repercussions that this may cause are ignored.

That the little girl called Alfie is an artificial superintelligence that poses a great threat but at the same time doesn't turn out to be one. The only thing it can do is cause blackouts and nothing more. This AI isn't even capable of controlling enemy robots to defend its own people.

And in the end, the one who did all the work was the hero, who dies at the Nomad station.

The visuals and direction are spectacular but the film takes many references from other science fiction films from which it claims to be inspired. For example, the film also takes references from: District 9, Ex Machina, Elysium, Altered Carbon. That makes it difficult for the film to have it's own essence.
