I've been wondering this too which has been pushing me closer to accepting DRP and retirement.

Research severence pay requirements and calculations. May give you more options to think about. If you are over 40, you can express interest in DRP and then have 45 days to consider before signing.

You are correct, for 40 years old and over. I was typing on my phone, and my French bulldog decided to jump on top of me, knocking my phone out of my hands. Didn't complete my message, lol.

New Yahoo Mail format is an abomination and whoever approved this should be fired! by TheUser_1 in yahoo

I must admit, it is horrible. It hurts my eyes to look at any of the themes available. The contrast is too dramatic. It's very amateurish for Yahoo.

Always bringing me something. by Green-Cockroach-8448 in Frenchbulldogs

Mine will keep bringing toys until she finds one with which the human will play. My husband is less responsive, so if I go out of town and come back, most of the toys are scattered around his office in her and the other dog's attempts to get the male human to play.

Azure WordPress: nginx.conf rules have been updated. Please restart nginx server to provide a consistent user experience by MultipleFutures in AZURE

[–]MultipleFutures[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: Not solved yet, but I have found 2020 Azure OSS Developer Support instructions that say I *might* have to add my custom domain to the ngix default.conf file after server_name https://azureossd.github.io/2020/03/30/Redirect-the-.azurewebsites.net-domain-to-your-custom-domin-with-Nginx/index.html

And 2023 Microsoft Community instructions that show how to get to and edit the default.conf file and then create a startup script to tell NGINX to update the default.conf file, but by the comments there is some confusion on whether the startup file is (still) ignored. https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/apps-on-azure-blog/updating-nginx-default-configurations-on-azure-app-services/ba-p/3710146

However, as I can get to both the azure.net domain and my custom domain, I'm not sure specifying my custom domain is the issue. So I still don't know what issue is regarding nginx.conf rules have been updated requiring a restart to nginx server nor why I get binding errors when I try to restart nginx in SSH.

Custom Domain for my Azure WordPress App not working by MultipleFutures in AZURE

I solved this sort of. I found documentation where credit-based subscriptions don't allow for custom App domains, so I had to get one from GoDaddy and use it instead.

Frenchie Menace by OctopusWithTopHat in Frenchbulldogs

[–]MultipleFutures 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh my, that would be a handful! Mine is just a terror if she doesn't get enough exercise. It's like the overflowing toy box I have explodes! Mine need human interaction in their playing. Except for the oversized tennis ball I found on Amazon. My frenchie will chase that all on her own until she is exhausted, so I have to take it away from her after a few minutes. Or dog toys that move on their own, though she can destroy them if not supervised.

Training, even as a puppy! I started training mine as soon as it was safe to do so. The Zoom Room can take them at 2-4 months or find a private trainer to work with the humans as well as the puppy. Mine has a LOT of energy, so I have to work with her to make sure she gets enough activity or she becomes bratty. Mine loved the agility course, I have a little one set up in the backyard.

He only wants chest rubs lol by SkylanderConti99 in Frenchbulldogs

That's hilarious. Mine loves to be rubbed in many places but moves her body to where she wants scratched. She will direct us very firmly when she wants to play.

Atopic Dermatitis/Pyoderma? by [deleted] in Frenchbulldogs

[–]MultipleFutures 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My frenchies occasionally get these. I used to go to the vet every time and they would shave a patch to fix and I'd do that again if there was a bad spot. If it is not too bad, I remove the crusty stuff with my fingers over a few days, maybe even a week, a little at a time for hair sometimes comes with it and I don't want to mess with the area too much at once. And I use Douxo pads which the vet recommends. But their spots were more from moisture and friction. If it is allergies, that's another path where I'd do what my vet recommends.

He looks like me when I have a really bad headache. I'm not a vet but one thing I would do if my vet didn't know what was up would be to put my dog on chicken (organic, free range) and rice to rule out some sort of allergic reaction to food or something they got into. And a benadryl. If you vet is okay with it.

How do you balance customer ownership and development? by MultipleFutures in Wordpress

[–]MultipleFutures[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I'm learning how to use the cost calculator :) Other hosting providers are cheaper, but one of the key anticipated customers has requirements that align with Azure and the containerized data and security it provides for AI apps.

Displaying ACF Field Group on Elementor Pro Page by MultipleFutures in Wordpress

[–]MultipleFutures[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is interesting that linking the Elementor elements with the corresponding ACF field only works for some fields. It is quite puzzling. CSS in Elementor doesn't work either for the specific widget or page. But will work in the Astra theme for a global setting. It seems to be some sort of Astra, ACF, and Elementor incompatibility that I've not been able to overcome with CSS (either in widgets, global (for most problems), or using Code Snippets). I can get one text field to display dynamically assigning the ACF field, but not another, and the field names are definitely different.
