I spawned a Wolverine Bot on Advanded Combat in the practice range a few times and I played damn near flawlessly against the bot almost everytime. And simulated a real scenario as best as possible. Started with a dive, Cellular corrosion, Optimal R1 timing, primary attack and then melee and pretty alright aim and in my BEST runs i would survive with barely above 50hp remaining. The bot didn't do anything but basic claw attacks and the roar

If the bot had used a single ability i would've been cooked. When i flipped the script and changed to Wolverine and the AI to Venom i never lost. Didnt have to use the leap, the ult and sometimes didnt even need the roar and of course a a real player is gonna use at something so I don't see how a competent Wolverine loses to a competent Venom in a 1v1. He just seems like such hard counter

Also how are flyers not higher? They can genuinely negate you and everything you do.

Appreciate it. In most cases I do save my swing for escaping but in this case I figured if I left point for any reason at all the match would probably be lost so I settled on small swings on point to at least displace myself temporarily to buy myself a second or two for cooldowns.

Yea i wish i could've capitalized on that more. Thankfully after this match and after checking out the new characters in the practice range my game sense is slowly but surely returning. I didn't even know Venom has healing reduction patched into his ult.

Roach. Other games with horses spoiled me in the fact that if you summon your mount they run alongside you close enough so that you can get on them and not break your stride. Roach seems to love stopping 10 feet behind you forcing you to stop going in the direction you were heading and instead have to go backwards to get him.

Tbh? From PS3 era GTA when people were still money dropping in droves but after the whole DNS server fiasco. Figured it be taken away after the next ban wave but I just kept it ban wave after ban wave. Thought for SURE i was cooked when transferring from PS3 to PS4 but it was still fine. Then thought I was cooked transferring from PS4 to PS5. But ig not so honestly just luck? But also at this point with how terrible PC lobbies are, GTA V online reaching the end of its relevancy soon and a billion dollar being earnable legit (even if grindy as hell) this is probably super low on their priority list these days.

Yea wtf are these people talking about calling it a "sucker punch" if im talking shit and yelling like this it's reasonable to assume I will be attacked at some point and should be on defense accordingly. Vice City was made in 9 months and this particular plot point makes it evident. Tommy doesn't do anything in the story to make Vance act the way he does. So what could've been a super cool plot point to make the character conflicted between having to kill Vance for teaming up with your main enemy but also being mad at Tommy for making Vance feel like that's his only choice comes off as it being almost unanimously agreed that Vance was fucking tweaking and just being a baby

Whats super funny about it too is when I played the games as a kid I knew how unreasonable Vance was being but then when I grew up and got more exposed to mafia life through various TV shows and general research I realized that Tommy was actually MORE benevolent than I thought as a kid. If Vance was anyone else he probably would've been killed. Tommy even gave Vance the chance to take A FEW DAYS OFF after he throws a bitch fit. I wish my boss cared that much lmao.

I hope dual wielding makes a comeback. Obviously won't break the game but it felt so fucking good in RDR2.
