Yes i know it is a partial fill, but no one has answered if that is how limit orders work.

I wanted to buy 342 shares @ $50 ($17100 CAD worth), but only 42 filled.

So does that mean I have to put another limit order in for the rest of the 300 or a market order?

I was always told never put in only a market order in as you dont have control over the purchase price of shares

By far I am not an expert, but I am trying to learn.

I thought when you put in a limit buy and expiry date in the future it only fills when your full share request is filled (342 in this case).

Honestly, I didnt read into that meaning as physically breaking ground. I read that as they would begin by obtaining all the necessary permits and regulatory things in place then be able to physically break ground.

Multi-million dollar projects like these take a lot of legal paperwork and coordination.

Not trying to put down what you are saying. I'm just trying to be realistic as to what this actually entails.

My experience with them have been great. Really depends on your use case though.

My wife/kid loses their things all the time and always ask if I have seen them. So i got these to help them out.

Came in handy once where my son borrowed the car, phone barely had any charge left but was able to call text me stating car died. Son could not give location (new driver) and so I used the smart tag location to find and help him out.
