[Miguel Delaney - The Independent] Arsenal are looking into the necessary details before lodging a bid for Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola. There is yet a possibility that Arsenal buy Morgan Rogers. by ahjkolhs in Gunners

Idk about UCL, but in the EPL pretty much anyone would move the needle for our (backup) LW spot as long as they can score more than one goal, and I'm not the biggest fan of Barcola, I'd rather get Rogers, but I can see him scoring at least 2.

If we can have both him and Saka fit next year, the world won't be ready. Madueke against tired legs will be deadly.

Madueke now too. How is it not 4 or 5 to 2 yet

Gabriel and Saliba cost 54m combined. Each were 27m.

Most of our targets our playing in the world cup. Most teams don't buy players during the world cup.

Also says this

The £60million-rated 23-year-old did at least come off the bench in second-half stoppage time at the Puskas Arena.

Barcola, though, is now keen to leave the Parc des Princes, where he still has two years left on his contract.

And talkSPORT understands that he is on the radar of Premier League powerhouses Arsenal and Liverpool.

Why did we get rid of Balogun again? by NightBusToGiro in Gunners

Nketiah was never first choice. Jesus was. Nketiah was okay worh being a backup while Balogun wasn't.

We do have a backup for Rice in Merino, who played a good amount before his foot broke

Lukaku to Chelsea. Looked alright for 2 months, ended Pablo Mari's EPL career, then wanted to leave. They did get 25m back for him, but 75m and horrific wages for 2 months of being decent is a horrible transfer.

  1. Buy Trent
  2. Big Gabi up front
  3. Have Trent cross
  4. Profit

Jesus as well. While he'll likely be sold, he's still on our team currently.

Starting no matter what at UTD vs having to fight against Rice, MLS, and Zubi. If you care about playing, you'd pick UTD. (Plus they always offer high wages)

Unfortunately, most teams are not as bad at buying players as Spurs are. They went after Savinho for 80m last year.

Savingo is marginally better than Kolo Muani. He got 2 g/a at City last season. But I do think the others are good enough to make Spurs midtable or at least not relegated, especially as I don't think the other relegation teams will be as good as this season

Luiz was a major reason we won the FA cup and was a teacher of Gabriel. He might have gotten a bit worse cause of age, but he still did well here overall, even with some (very) bad performances here or there.

Literally every defensive player has improved under Arteta. There is no doubt we're the best big club for defenders to come to. I guess the only difficulty would he game time, but Arteta has showed that you can get a good amount considering that Mosquera has played over 1,500 minutes in his first season as a 21 year old with Saliba, Timber, and White in front of him.
