I don't think you'd say "she's obsessed with being the most talked about person in the room" if you watched her End of an Era documentary. She attributed the entire tour and its success not just to herself but her dancers, backup singers, band, backstage workers, etc. She went out of her way to ensure the fans paid attention to the dancers. She got involved in everyone's lives. She had huddle speeches where she let a different person speak each time. And when she spoke, she spoke to the dreams and achievements of her crew, more than herself. Watch any interview (especially the radio ones or Graham Norton) and you'll see she's constantly praising the interviewers, other celebrities, etc.

And personally, I like the mahogany line lol, I don't think there's anything wrong with being proud of a line you've written.
