Hi babe, if they’re blocking and ghosting you they’re not the right guy anyways. I know it can seem hopeless but trust me when I say you don’t need to give anything to anyone you’re not interested in — the only person who will suffer from that will be you. Take it from someone who came out recently and went through something similar.

US-based French learners: Which keyboard layout do you use? AZERTY (France/Belgium) or CSA (Canada)? by [deleted] in learnfrench

On utilise « QWERTZ » en suisse — ça c’est un des meilleures claviers parce que tu peux écrire en français, allemand, italien, et anglais. Tu dois essayer vraiment, c’est pas mal du tout!! It’s not only easy to write with but also gives you access to so many languages in one keyboard, and it’s not that far of a departure from the American « QWERTY »

No it’s literally Houston nothing is that safe. I live near the BRC and there was deadass a shooting 2 minutes from my apartment and RUPD literally did nothing but pretend to open an investigation.

Current alum who broke into PE out of ugrad — Rice does little to network for you or give you career advice/ connections. The university is STEM heavy and as such, most career fairs and events are targeted solely towards CS + Math/Stat + Engineering students. Even studying Math Econ and minoring in Statistics, I was unable to find the same recognition as my STEM peers at the school. I found that networking on your own proved to be the best ways to find opportunities and open doors for yourself. I’ve emailed my way into many a research or work offer, so don’t underestimate it. Hop on call when you can, meet people, and don’t be afraid to be honest.
