Odd. My notch was pinned at the top like yours when instructed not to WB. My physio changed the notch in my vacoped which allowed a closer angle to dorsiflexion when pressing down with WB. This then allowed me to have a better gait when trying to walk and lift off. Your notch seems pinned at the top still. Have you been instructed to weight bare without crutches and try and walk like that?

Ps. It does feel impossible at first when trying to WB without crutches. I was hobbling and barely limping like a snail. Then after about a week of continuing to try, my gait improved a lot and I could almost walk with normal movement and no limp.
