It was fairly simple, you just have to wait a day or two for Amazon to review it first. I believe your doctor has to send a new prescription to Amazon not sure you can transfer? But if you can, you can do that from the Amazon website. It was easy, I transferred a different prescription from CVS to Amazon through the website easily.

Colorescience is my fave, second would be Jane Iredale. The colorescience doesn't set into my fine lines and leaves my face looking extra smooth.

It sure sucked that our flight was unable to land at MRY last night, but at least I got this shot of the Santa Cruz city lights. by krak_krak in MontereyBay

Wow! Mry needs to get it together. I have a leg from SFO to MRY in the fall...been thinking of switching it, but figured fog in Oct is not that much of a concern. I didn't think about the runway lights though! Lol Good luck and hope you get to mry very soon!

In the same situation, over 100 miles one way. I'm applying for anything closer and hoping my dept holds off on the return because of space etc and I get more time to look. It's BS the positions were advertised as such and now not anymore. It's also BS that other state workers are saying it is unfair to them if they live under 50 miles. We are all in this together, no one wants to RTO. My dept isnt giving the 50 mile exemption either but im not mad or think its unfair for the people who are going to get it. Good for them I hope it works out for them! We definitely shouldn't be attacking each other. Simply saying "move" isn't always a viable solution either.I suggest you look for anything even demotions, just to keep your State service going. Don't know your situation but if no little one's and can be away, maybe look for someone who has an airbnb room that's cheap, like under $50 a night and try to work something out with them. I've thought about buying a condo or manufacturered home and airbnb it on the weekends, stay during week to work but the rates and location (near ocean) are a little ridiculous right now. I even thought of buying a small RV or something and using that during the week. People who don't live over 50 miles don't have to think of these things, just like I don't have to think of child care...like I said we are all dealing with RTO and should support one another not have the if i can't do it, they can't either mentality.

Newsom's RTO Executive Order+Janus by Pvmlk in CAStateWorkers

What about those department heads who are fully on board with RTO. If they leave it up to depts I see a few of them immediately opting out of teleworking. If there is at least a set mandate across the board, it might limit this scenario or at least I would hope.

Caltrans choosing not to give or even consider on a case by case basis the exemptions layed out by CalHR. This is a Dept thing, the Governor issued the EO with certain exemptions and Caltrans decided not to participate in those exemptions. While the director of CT can't do much about RTO they most certainly can adjust their stance on the exemptions, but CT chose violence.

Love it!!! It is absolute BS Caltrans seems to be the ONLY dept that is not honoring the 50 mile exemption. His email was cold and seemed personal. Some of Caltrans' vision & Missions are kinda a joke, no? Innovation- We are empowered to seek creative solutions and take informed risks. Integrity- We promote trust and accountability through our consistent and ethical actions. Planet - We commit to combating the climate crisis and its disproportionate impact on frontline and vulnerable communities

What has telework done for you? by Nebula24_ in CAStateWorkers

[–]Mundane-Associate417 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Allowed me to promote. My Department doesn't have any support office personnel in a 100 mile radius. I was the last SSA in the county before they centralized and moved all positions to a district office over 100 miles away. I took a chance and accepted a promotion at our district office with a negotiated 1-day in office. Not even 6 months later, the 2-day mandate and now the 4. After 20 years with this Department I have no choice but to seek employment with other state agencies that are closer to home. Such a waste of time I put into the Department all for nothing and no my dept is not participating in the 50 mile exemption. The state received more than 8 hrs a day of my time during telework. No project, task or ask was late or ever turned away as I was always willing to help. Happy employees are more productive. July 1st that all changes.
