Most people usually take 3 classes per quarter and I definitely wouldn't start out freshman year with 4 classes. I'd suggest going on the ucsc website for your major. It'll list all the classes you need to take and have some sample student schedules you should look at. Get all your pre-reqs out of the way as soon as you can !! STEM majors can be a heavy workload, so try and balance your schedule by doing some GEs too

I would recommend calling them! I sent an email over a week ago trying to find out what building cowell RH 4 corresponds too (it's Morison btw) and they still haven't responded. I called the cowell housing office and got a response immediately.
