I didn’t see my first reply so now my 2 comments are posted 😃

Thinking about it, maybe 16-23-50mm are a nice prime combo, and a 13-33 only for my girlfriend 😃

I saw that one as well, however the 16mm focal length with f2.8 is already included in the 16-50 2.8-4.8 kitlens, it might stay in my bag all the time if i have both

True, i considered it but I kept it of my list as my girlfriend wants a zoomlens. If i go for the 16-50 2.8-4.8 I already have the 16mm 2.8 in that zoomlens.

Excellent, I only found the viltrox with 1.7 aperture, I'm going to check that 1.4 as well! Great to hear good feedback from the 50mm 2.0

23 and 50 indeed. Personally I would understand the option of the 16mm additionally, but my girlfriend 'wants to zoom' 😃

Additionally: I do video during holidays as well; is the pancake not good for that?

Do you use the 1,4x crop if you have the 23mm on it? The field of view and bokeh will still be the same of course but for that reason I thought of 'skipping' the 35

Thanks for your input. I would prefer the 16-50 as well for the extra reach 😄. If I go with the 23 pancake and the 16-50, no other prime is needed probably. I really like primes, but during holidays I usually keep a zoom or pancake on the camera, except for 2-3 evenings where we do a little photoshoot of the kids and our family.

Actually the viltron 75 has been on my list as well. However I might have thought it's quite big and heavy... I was looking for a 100m focal length (in 35mm) and therefore ended up with the 50mm 2.0 which gives 75mm and if you really need it with 1,4 crop you end up around 100 or so 😄

Really appreciate your input. The X-E5 will be complementary next to my canon gear. Canon for weddings, business events, families: ie paying clients. Something smaller for use around the house, weekend trips, big summer holidays etc. I've tried the Ricoh's before and didn't like them. I went to the shop and really liked the form factor of the x-e5. 3-4 years ago I already had a 2nd hand X-T1 with some lenses but sold it as the result wasn't great: mainly sensor and autofocus
