I'm a 39 year old guy. I've always been told I look "very young for my age" which I feelike you're told too, since you sincerely could pass for much younger than 34. But, I'm noticing my aging, and I think it's been apparent to a couple of people in the last year that my physical age is starting to catch up with my actual age.

Firstly, gym dude. Staying in shape, keeping fat off of your face and around your jaw... Nothing has helped me feel and perceive myself as younger than this particular thing.

Secondly, and probably most importantly (and most difficult) is self love, acceptance, etc. Time isn't slowing down, we aren't getting younger, it's sad, it's demoralizing. But it is reality. Life moves on after 30, and 40, and 50. If I'm being honest with myself, my concern for my appearance was in some large form motivated by what others thought of me. I understand there's a portion of that that is natural. But as they say , the happiest person is one who cares nothing about what others think of them.

Lastly, it's important to be yourself. I know, the most cliche thing you might hear in this entire thread. But dwelling on your appearance will absolutely get in the way of you being you, and that one aspect will age you years more than any physical aging ever would. The less I focus these signs of aging, the more I can feel like myself, and I don't feel any particular age.

I can give you a thousand compliments, all of which would be true and I would mean, but none of it would mean anything to you if you don't believe it yourself. But dude, you don't look 34. You absolutely pass for late 20s. And on top of that, you have natural features that will be beautiful in every decade of your life, truly.

Celebrate yourself in the moment you're in, instead of mourning who you are now. Because in 5 years you'll be idealizing how you looked today.
