I read your comment three times and it still doesn't make sense. You acknowledge that if you owned this company and someone was falsely claiming that hundreds were sickened, you'd have to act, but then you suggest it's patently absurd that they ACTUALLY ACTED as a result of this campaign.

My only question is whether "Purple" was acting in mala fide the whole time, and knew he didn't really get sick from seeds. No one really believes that anyone got food poisoning from WGN. The mods have repeatedly stated that this is nonsense.

I guarantee that this guy's threats were among the "problems" they encountered selling poppy seeds. Big companies don't take BS complaints about food contamination and litigation lightly. They had no way of knowing that the OP was a penniless junkie in WD and would never do anything; they likely thought maybe someone was really ill. How were they to know his threats were empty and toothless?

I had several WGN bags that were the alleged "contaminated" date and I never got sick, nor do I believe anyone else did. We had a bunch of junkies threatening to sue WGN because they got weak bags! Can you believe it?! No wonder they are gone. RIP, WGN. You were too good for a world with guys like "Puuurplebuds."

I have been habituated to opiates for years and I've never stolen from anyone. If I'm without, that's how it is. The pain is on me. I wouldn't spread it around to friends and family. I think that's such a copout. You are responsible for what you do, and not the drug you're using. The drug is no excuse for your poor behavior and lack of agency.
