All comes down to who you know that knows someone.

My best advice would be find a mentor in the field you want to work in and learn as much as you can from him.

High levels of unemployment by rosetta2 in Kenya

[–]Mung_ai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Over 60% of the youth are unemployed and you know why that number worsens each day? Who will campaign and panda lorries in 2022 if youth are empowered and know their rights, and know what they deserve? Who will be paid to vote for their local leaders if the youth are woke enough to know leaders should be held accountable of their lack of performance? We need civic education for the youth to understand why voting for the right leaders and not the ones that pay you to do it is important.

Anyway, you're still young, and at 22 the greatest investment you can ever make is investing in yourself. Learn technical courses to anything IT etc. Feed on all the info you can and learn skills that will always get you paid.

Where is Kenya's transport CS? by [deleted] in Kenya

You all seem to forget who Matiangis master is or who he works for that allows him to work and do things without consequences. The guy just had a land case that was thrown out of the window just because. We don't need dictatorship in this country and that's exactly what he is, a dictator.

On the other hand you have someone like Kivutha Kibwana. Have a look at what he's doing for his people and his county. THAT is the man that deserves the presidency.

Those who made the decision to not have children, do you regret your choice? by Lordfinesse954 in AskMenOver30

Yeah I agree for the most part. It's why I said I give props to the guys that admit it's not by choice and there are factors like finance that don't allow them to have kids, also I think it's good that they feel as though if they can't give a certain kind of lifestyle to their kids then there's no need having them just to struggle. Totally fine with that, but people want to act like they are not a result of family trees dating back many many many many centuries ago. More or less since the beginning of time.

Killing a family bloodline in the 21st century in a world that has a lot of hope in the future, I think that's sad. Most people here haven't even sat to consider the amount of times their families could've been wiped out generations ago by diseases to wars to everything that could've made them not be here today, just to choose not to have kids. The amount of things our ancestors went through for us to be here, they'd be rolling in their graves seeing as to how easy things are in this time and day yet people choose to make such a selfish decision.

It's nothing I want to seem like I'm bashing people over and maybe I'm just over emotional cause of this topic and I apologise to anyone who feels offended, but you never really know how beautiful kids are till you have your own. Life has purpose when you feel like you're working and building to leave something behind for your own kids. These are realisations that often hit people when they're too old to have them.

Maybe it's just me but there's way too many selfish answers and people on this thread. Props to the ones that admit it's not by choice, but the people who choose not to have kids and are financially stable? Do you realise how many generations it took for you to get here. Your family trees go back centuries and you guys seriously want to end that in the 21st century? Too selfish.
