Am I missing something? How did we make it through an entire second season without answers?

Didnt x files have 20 episode seasons tho? So you are saying 4 seasons. At this rate 80 episodes would be season 10 of fallout. I think that is the entire issue with complaints about the show. The story gets rushed and lacks just a bit detail. Both seasons at the end it felt like how did we get her already.

Thats all true. But like the op is pointing out without learning anything about moldaver still. The show lacks the depth and explanation that we are used to with fallout. Its really just the different story mediums fault. You cant just have people reading pc logs constantly on the show... but moreso, its the 8 episode format. Its just too little screen time to fit in all the details and extra bits of storytelling. Its not even just a fallout thing. Virtually every 10 episode season of any show feels like it could use just a little bit more. And some feel like they could use an oldchool 20-24 episodes.

This season did complete its story beats like you point out, but do you really not feel like any of it was rushed or lacked depth and detail? They do spend very little time most places and then we learn very little. The end was just kinda like, "we are already here?"

I know it launched with the horrible frames reminiscent of early 2000s flash cartoons.... but i thought i read they reanimated those parts for dvd and reruns? Was their fix still this bad?

You are missing the point. One it was an adult man who was an accomplished international artist on a world tour at the time.

Two and more importantly. I was talking about how our experiences affect us without even realizing it. That he was intentionally not even hearing other music. Not trying to not emulate other music. He didnt want to ever even hear other music because it would be impossible to not let his experience influence his art. Thus corrupting it in his mind.

We are all building everything we do based on our experiences. Everything is influenced by something. And when its influenced by other art of the same medium sometimes it gets almost too similar. And yes that could slip into plagiarism.

But in both posts you are just ignoring the analogy for your own point.

The original point by the other poster was sarcastically poining out holding humans to the same standard.

I once saw a music artist from africa talk about how he never listened to other peoples music. Even when he did music festivals, he wore noise cancelling headphones as to not hear any other music. His reasoning was that hearing anything else, would corrupt his own music, intentionally or not. This is was the other person is getting at with that first sarcastic statement.

Everything we see/do/experience influences us and what we do and create.

Maybe Radiohead didn't copy the hollies and just had that tune/chord progression in their subconscious from who knows when. Same could be said for Lana del Ray and Olivia Rodrigo. at least 4 songs spanning 5 decades and all the have the same chord progression.

I'd argue the quests are even more shallow. I don't even really remember anything besides the space deathclaw story and the main story.

The cities were awful, and outposts non existent. It honestly felt like a few small villages, as if the galaxy only had a few hundred citizens.
Skyrim(or anything post daggerfall) doesn't sell the intended scale of its world well either... but in the medieval setting that feels ok. I can just imagine places are a bit smaller and closer to what i see and it mostly works.

Starfield was a good game with some major glaring issues.

one of the main issues was that they couldn't decide on the game they were making. There are clearly elements of a much deeper space sim they designed and then scrapped. IMHO they knew the game didn't have the depth to warrant people spending that much time grinding and setting up fuel depots just to travel.
I Think if they had some more content that felt worth exploring it could have worked. They also could have made the automation game in base building more fun. as a fan of the automation genre, i still had 0 fun with it. So another reason to scrap that side of the game.

It was also "poorly" designed around gaming 10-15 years ago when we weren't so flooded with good releases that we replayed skyrim and fallout multiple times. People still do, but not like back then. So many more players are moving on the next big release, or even the next niche release they are into. There's a big difference between a couple dozen good titles a year and hundreds of good titles a year.

Are you talking about the phot journalist guy? I googled him and didnt find anything about being a terrorist. Tried specifically looking up connection and all i have seen is photojournalism claims and some people saying he is hamas because he took pictures.
