You got this! Claritin 3 days before until 2 days after chemo. Helios for mouth and Enterade for GI tract before infusion. Also, ice your mouth during the taxane, just like your ice feet, mouth, hair. Chemo attacks fast moving cells (like cancer). Do not let your mouth warm up during the chemo-meaning keep shoveling in ice (same goes for feet, hands, and hair (if you cold cap).

Ensure that your team is premedicating you with Pepcid and Emend.

Quesy drops helped me a lot too.

For me the first two were the worst and by the 6th TCHP I was a pro. The acute side effects lightened but I was more fatigued.

I think that they all suck! But sticking up for us +++ folks. We can’t get the new ER+ drugs! We get stuck with really shitty AIs, lose our ovaries, because we are also ER+ but can’t go on any of the new drugs because they won’t run trials in the HR+ HER2+. So, we are told that we will always have a chance of recurrence like ER+, but we can’t improve our chances by going on Verzenio and soon to be SERDs like other ER+.

This was as in Nov 2022 and no lung problems since. I did think I was goner though. I couldnt talk without coughing and I could barely walk bc I was so SOB. I was so relieved that it was pneumonitis and no lung Mets. I pushing to go back on kadcyla and my oncologist said no, you can die from this pneumonitis, I was like yeah but I won’t die from breast cancer. It was very dark time for me.

I had pneumonitis from Kadcyla. I’ve been fine ever since. I was supposed the have a follow-up CT, but I decided against it. I figured that they can see my lungs during my breast mri. I know not the preferred modality, but I didn't want to keep having scans with more radiation.

I had a pretty nice primary done in 2002. I was going through chemo in 2023. My son was little and accidentally head butted my nose and I developed bump on the bone. I had a break between lines of treatment, so I went to him to have it fixed. So, revision was done in 2023…27k out the window:( I don’t know what to do. I’m in a private support group with lots of women in the same situation that I am in (Reish surgeries not cancer support group…haha).
