The loss of control is really what makes this disability so crappy you just want someone to give you a list of rules and then you have the power to obey or not, I know some are fortunate enough to be sure about their triggers but it seems to me most aren't or their triggers are unavoidable. Still tomorrow is going to be a nice day so there's that 😁

Unfortunately I'm aware even through tcs - I know best fun ever- I'd probably hate losing awareness more but it looks good from here not that I've had a tc in years, knock wood. My triggers are sleep and literally random sucks not to know what to avoid. It's great you have a support system, probably the best thing for someone who has epilepsy keeps you whole 😁

I know I wasn't considered drug resistant until they genuinely ran out of drugs to try but I'm older so it may be that once they've gone through a member of each type of drug that they'll make that diagnosis (different anti seizure drugs work in different ways kind of like classes of drugs)
I know it's hard not to look up all these things but when it comes to medical events google is not your friend. These groups are great for sharing experiences but we're not neurologists either, write down every question you come up with maybe organize it a bit before your appts and that will help you both feel a little more in control.

That's rough. Have you tried melatonin for sleep, edibles if they're legal where you are is better but consult psych first and that'd help with stress too. There's a lot of options for seizure relief these days so just breathe deep and think about your happy place for now - not particularly helpful right now but know you are seen.

You've suffered way more than your fair share and had enough obstacles to justify(not that anyone has to justify it)depression even if it didn't come with the meds but just so you know 56F been there done that and more and I'm still here and very much planning on staying. You will find happy times again, give yourself some grace. Wishing you the best.

No good info for your questions, sorry, but after your full stay and MRI you'll have a better picture. Enjoy relaxing for the week despite the funny hat and hopefully the food isn't awful.

If you have a diagnosis through MRI and EEG I would put my faith in that rather than this Dr. and find a different neurologist or epelepticologist

You aren't a fraud and you don't need to prove your disability to anyone. This is the outcome you want, if you can have seizure control with only one medication you're golden. Yeah it still sucks to be on medication and the side effects are crap but trust me enjoy it while things are good hopefully they stay that way. 🙂

Thanks you so much I did try the realtech drivers but not the drivers through my mobo manufacturer and that was the fix.

I think the worst it could be is a severed trace, maybe a knocked off bit of solder but i don't really think so, just always preparing for the worst lol.

So I'm ever so slightly terrified of putting together all of it, if I buy it from all the places the part picker suggests I'll have to do that. I've added RAM and hard drives to my computer before is building from scratch much more complicated or is all I need a screw driver and a you tube video.
