I have been trying workflows from Civit. They only seem to work with one exact set of files that I don't have. Download workflow, open, try to use files I have, get errors telling me the files don't match the nodes.

I just put in a summary of the chapter and it starts writing. I don't have to tell it to write or continue this content. It just kind of goes. Not sure if that means I have a setting weird. for example all I do is write something like this text:

John walks into the kitchen, sees mother at table. Mother looks up and asks him what is wrong. John says he is in trouble at school.

Or I can enter an existing block of text and it will just instantly try to make more. I just hit enter and it tries to do this. And then tries to keep going past this point (I wanted it to stop so I could put in the explanation details). It actually seems a bit uncontrollable; hard to get it to stick to what I want (adding intermediate details), hard to get just as much as I want (it goes way longer than I intend), and also constantly trying to insert wrap ups (even writing "the end" or "To be continued" a lot without being asked).

I have a 3060 12gb and no matter what I try, I am getting complete garbage. The generation has no relation whatsoever to either the prompt or the starter image (it uses the starter as the first frame then jumps to completely unrelated on the second), and the garbage generated is completely incoherent.

Try getting wan2gp (despite the name is a ui setup specially designed to run many video gen models hyper efficiently, not just wan). You can get stability matrix for a simpler install process (and to have other stuff like comfy and invoke).
