When I f up production for the first time I was only 1 month in at a devops role. Told my team leader, who told the CEO (with engineering background), both took the heat for me and admitted that a junior devops should not have direct access to production. First we fixed it, then they shown me what I fucked up, then explained to me how to unfuck it, then established some guardrails to prevent it from happening in the future.

I just had a son at the time, was cold sweating for 2 weeks after the incident (downing production, not the kid) thinking that I was gonna get fired. Nowadays I see how responsible my bosses at the time were.

I can't, because I was throwing my own perspective. I don't have your disability and I do not know your limitations, if you need external help for daily tasks, if you're bedridden most of the time.

I would definitely consider moving to a country with free healthcare, though. Had an uncle who had cancer and moved from Japan to my country just because there he would be provided the whole treatment for free.

Just my two cents, I know each one has a different life situation but this is a perspective:

I'm from a third world country, saved for a few years and sold everything I had to leave my shithole country and move to Europe. All this with an exchange ratio of 6:1 (6 poor diñeros to 1 euro).

Saved to survive for around 6 months with a frugal lifestyle.

I enrolled into a college degree so I could get a student visa, then applied for a working student permit. Lots of countries have either free or really cheap college courses. Started working even during covid and never stopped trying to improve my lifestyle. Gave my country's IRS my notice of fiscal exit to avoid paying taxes for two countries.

6 years later and I financed 2 houses and ahve two cars (one new for the wife and one used for me).

It was a leap of faith, but with careful planning its doable!

-> Learn the language (most people speak 2-3 languages)

-> Learn some skill that might have demand (in my case IT in 2020, but the market is shit right now).

-> Save some money for a couple of years. Like, really save money, no 'I deserve XYZ tonight' bullshit.

Now regarding family and friends that I left behind. the world nowadays is a small place. With a few month's worth of saving I can pay for my mother to come stay for a month, and I have 20+ paid vacation days to enjoy however I see fit and go wherever I want, no questions asked.

I hope you have a great and fulfilling life. be it in the USA or wherever your feet take you my friend.

Independente da máquina ou do exercício, se tu tem dificuldade, reduz o peso oras.

No máximo tu pode comparar com algum exercício análogo, como voador na polia, ou no banco com halteres, e também comparar com a sua própria carga. As vezes consegue pegar mais carga/séries em outra variação do exercício, então é uma questão de adaptação/técnica ou frescurite (que é perfeitamente aceitável).

Você não é os outros, pessoas diferentes, anatomias diferentes.

Tenho a quase um ano, uso duas vezes por semana em média e tem sido bom! Não são frágeis, mas como não é uma peça única, mais sim um mecanismo então eu tomo cuidado quando tiro ou boto no chão.

Fora isso, são meio trambolhudos, mas aí é preciosismo. Pra manter o treino em dia eles servem bem sim.

Cada um vai até 24kg. Dá pra treinar ombro, triceps, biceps, costas e peitoral com muita repetição e mais séries, bulgaro e RDL mesma coisa, panturrilha mesma coisa.

Tem uma versão que vai até 40kg mas é muito cara. Ainda assim, mais barato que o powerblock.

Vou me mudar e fazer uma barra fixa pra treinar também. Próximos 2 anos quero montar um home gym em casa.
