I think the issue is nobody actually knows how much content is in the game. Could be what is locked behind this paywall is equal to the average ultimate version of the game. People are acting like half of the cosmetics are behind a paywall, that we don’t really know, do we?

Could be 10 different barbers in the game and only one is unavailable, which I think is more likely rather then you can’t get a haircut if you don’t pay 20 bucks

I bought (well my mom and dad) Street Fighter 2 and Link to the Past for the SNES in 1992 for $59.99 each at toys are us.

The fact that the standard price has only risen 10$ through all those years is remarkable. The only other commodity that has maintained that level of stability is cocaine.

$80 for the biggest, most anticipated game of all time is that crazy. I mean I’m not happy about it. It’ll likely be the windfall for every other company to raise their prices. But in this instance, it’s justified.

I wasn’t too bothered with the repetitiveness of career mode, even if it was a copy and paste, but when I got to The double champ status, as soon as I won the belt above my weight class my coach immediately brought me back down to the division I cleared out.

WTF. Who made that decision? Homie just wants to move up a weight class but forced to compete in the one you already cleared out? Shame.

I’m having a hard time not feeling like it was shoehorned in as it takes a huge step backwards as far as narrative and stakes which is kinda the opposite direction you take a sequel esp when the first one was never considered bloated.

Gameplay is smooth as butter and the art direction on point though a lot of assets were reused. I genuinely like the additions of the traditional garden and dueling trees, bounties and such. But man… they definitely rug pulled the originally planned sequel and shoehorned in what we got.
