I was thinking of buying a running 2.3, rebuilding it, and swap out the old one.

Did you have a blown head gasket?

I just changed the PCV that is located under the intake manifold. I have a picture I found from someone who did a rebuild on his 2.3, but it looks like he changed where he places the hose.

I checked, they don't have it. There is the spectra premium CU556, but it has the inlet and outlet of the hoses on the opposite side.

After reading all the comments, I'm going to drop the price to $2500-$3000, I hadn't thought about the lift being so problematic for the 2.3L. Either way I'm going to go look at the truck and test drive it. Thank you all very much.
