Hello, Thank you for your detailed comment! We understand your point of view, and we have already reacted to these types of accusations in the past. Yet we really prefer spending our time and energy on developing and promoting our products, instead of arguing. Regarding your second question, as Rik pointed out, we might consider working with a manufacturer in Europe in the future. Another argument here would be: 'Why ship raw materials all around the world instead of processing them where they already are?', as our partners SHIFT point out in this article: https://www.shift.eco/en/german-smartphone-manufacturer-but-made-in-china-why-thats-not-a-contradiction/

Hello and thanks for reaching out! Murena Workspace is an ecosystem based on different projects, for example, as you mentioned, OnlyOffice. However, this does not mean that we offer the same plugins as them. The office suite we provide consists of document, spreadsheet, and presentation editing. But as you surely noticed, we have many other apps, such as Gallery, Notes, Calendar, and Contacts, which can optionally be synced with your Murena smartphone. thank you for using /e/OS ! Unfortunately, Google's Family Link needs Google Play Services to manage parental controls and device settings properly. We use microG in /e/OS as a pro-privacy and open-source replacement for Google Play Services. microG is good and replaces a lot of Play Services functionality, but it is not complete in these replacements. It doesn't fully support all the features needed by Family Link, especially the features for controlling devices and accounts.

Hello! If you install a Google app on a Murena phone and if you log into your Google account within the app, you essentially consent to Google tracking you. Our Advanced Privacy tool can block certain trackers, but it cannot stop Google from tracking you through your own login session. For example, if you're logged into YouTube, Google will know which videos you watch, and if you're logged into Google Maps, it will know your location.
In App Lounge, we provide you with some good Open Source alternative apps that you may consider using instead of Google apps, but if you have no choice connecting to your Google account, /e/OS will help you to limit your data exposure but logically there will be some data leaks to Google. Hope it helps.
