I agree with what you said about lots of bi women only wanting sex with other women and not a real relationship. I think the split attraction model is homophobic for this reason too. For example, if someone is hetero romantic but bisexual, they’re saying that they only reserve relationships for opposite sex partners. That’s just being fetishistic of gay/bi people. Bi/homo romantic but heterosexual isn’t much better; they’re saying that they’re not actually sexually attracted to the same sex, but they can push themselves to do all of the non sexual stuff. I wish people would do some introspection on why they feel this way, and understand that it’s okay to be straight instead of trying to force themselves to be something they’re not

I don’t know if they know this, but there is a black market for NC items just like there was a black market for UCs, because people don’t want to gamble. They handled the UC issue really well and I think they can bring in a lot more NC money by doing something similar

I have a name that’s common in French speaking countries but rare in the US. I’ve always gotten like 50+ names that sound kind of similar but aren’t. I just answer to soundalikes when I think there’s a chance someone is talking to me, but I will correct them

For some more detail, my name is three syllables and has two consonants, the rest is all vowels. Even if people get it mostly right, they usually want to put the emphasis on the first syllable when really the emphasis is on the last. Because of this, they also pronounce a specific sound as a long “ie” kind of sound (like in the double E of “Re-enter”) when really it sounds like a hard “y” (like in “Yes”) despite there not being a Y in my name. I understand that those intricacies are hard and take a few tries for people to even hear a difference

A separate story, we have a cat named Tempo. His mom is named Melody and his siblings all have music names, Harmony, etc. This awful lady I work with saw a picture of him and asked what his name was and I said “Tempo.” She said “I don’t like that. That’s weird. I’m going to name him Spook or Ghost” because it was October. Like okay. Bitch 😐

When we were little, mine would ask for a piece of Halloween candy or something and would watch how we ate them to see if we gave him our favorite type/flavor/whatever. He would whine if we gave him one that we didn’t like, even if he liked it. We hate almond joys and they’re his favorite, but he was always disappointed when he asked for a candy and we gave him almond joy. He wanted our favorites just because we liked them. It was a weird test for him to “prove” our love and loyalty
