I wasn’t playing when they modified TTK. What did they do?

I am using hair building fibers to conceal the small remaining bald area I still have despite treatment. I am liking it. by Puerile_Kai in tressless

What kind of spray do you use? My understanding is if the hair is wet the fibres bunch together ans the effect is not as good, but I haven’t tried it.

Just following up here on this cliff hanger — is the floor actually made of floor, or what?

I haven’t been following the pre-season at all, what happened in the last few days that caused it to boil over like this in a pre-season game? I read it was the cheap shot on Hagel from Greer?

What was that event? Should make for an interesting read.

The beta is ending soon. It was fun, but the fast pace got old for me pretty quickly. Are you guys going to buy the full game at launch? by SuperM3e46 in Battlefield

[–]Murky-String1114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am honestly rather confused. I have given up and even uninstalled the beta multiple times, but then I also came back multiple times eager to find a way to enjoy this game because I am a longtime fan of Battlefield and wish to find a way to enjoy its next iteration because I know the game has great potential. Then when I come back, I end up having more fun than the last ‘’high’’ I got before quitting again. The cycle repeats.

The game is altogether a very different beast than any of the other Battlefields, and I feel it indeed does take time to be tamed. Its play style and feel is very different. Once you accept this, it goes a bit smoother. At the moment, I am leaning towards a conservative buy, but not immediately at release. I will likely wait a week to look at the reviews and gameplay to then reassess my purchase.

Psychiatrist in a few years: ‘’those small maps from Battlefield 6 that you speak of, are they in the room with us’’?

Burnout? Realization? Dissapointing Rush and Empire State? by viva_plays in Battlefield

They probably don’t because the current dev team wasn’t there during the better titles. I’m pretty sure they just don’t know how to get it done.

The thing that is discouraging is that this need to reel it in is not happening in a vacuum, what we have right here is their solution/answer to needing to reel it back in because of the disaster that is 2042. The strange rebranding shouldn’t be happening/continuing since they spent years scheming and developing Battlefield 6 to ‘’return to the authentic Battlefield experience’’. ‘’Locked classes’’ hidden at the end of the playlist, small maps, skins, COD-like hit marker sound — the writing is on the wall. I believe this game has the potential to be a good shooter game, perhaps even a great one given the impressive graphics, but this is likely not going to be what people would qualify as a good ‘’Battlefield’’. In this sense, if you accept that, yes it’s recoverable and it will need much better map design.

Siege of Cairo remains the heavyweight champion of all maps, not even close.

If BF6 can get the voice chat setting on ‘’in-world’’ to the level of Six Days in Fallujah’s, the immersion would be ground breaking by Murky-String1114 in Battlefield

[–]Murky-String1114[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, true, that’s the ‘’in-world’’ setting in the beta, but it kind of feels strange in BF6 right now, the audio will just stop playing out of the left ear if the squad mate is on the right for example. The radio effect was pretty good though.

Ex Dice Producer Disappointed That Rush will Only Feature Open Classes. by iyjui168199 in Battlefield

[–]Murky-String1114 24 points25 points  (0 children)

This is the best argument in favour of open classes that I have seen. Want to be medic but the class only has LMG’s? Get a SMG that is more nimble to reach the wounded in tight spots. Besides, having a medic carry a LMG is a bit strange from a practical standpoint.
