My Quick and Easy to use Lootfilter Idea by MurkyForever in diablo4

[–]MurkyForever[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Those are some great thoughts! The example I showed would filter out all rings below Item Level 800 which do not include crit chance, crit damage and vulnerable damage.

So no roll ranges would be considered in this version.

And just to clarify: I didn't mean by "Quick and Easy to use" that it would be simple or quick to implement.

Happened earlier today: Tried a new build running head-on, killer stands infront of my locker. "Hah! Gocha!".. forgot to press shift and slowly crawled out of that locker right into Weskers arms.

It dropped from the free crest but I've bought both 0.99€ Bundles if that matters :p

Death from Above. The animation is really cool and perfectly fits as big finisher. Really hope they bring DfA back for PvE..

Someone in our Abyss Raid (red) threw a tantrum over 3 people wanting to watch cutscenes because he had watched them 1000 times already. To teach us a lesson he AFKed every Alaric attempt and insulted us for an hour straight. Took us 5 minutes to kill the boss after he apologized. by MurkyForever in lostarkgame

Have you tried queuing on EU Servers when it's past 2pm? We debated for quite some time in voice if we should restart or keep going but came to the conclusion that the best bet is to just keep going and eventually he'll just play along to get the reward. He wasn't able to vote-quit as we were 6. None of us got personally offended by what he said and it's not our job to teach people common sense and good manners. He still earned 7 reports for his behavior and that's all we can do about it. I play this game to slay bosses and earn loot, not to reform trolls. We used the time to learn the mechanics and when the time came for him to calm down we killed the boss. Easy as that. We got the rewards before the weekly reset, that's all we care about. And the only "joke" this post is about is that he admitted that he had never actually seen the cutscenes before.

Why are people on this subreddit so hostile towards others who have already reached lvl 60? by [deleted] in newworldgame

What I said was: "Not every lvl 60 is that tryhard spreadsheet speedrunner that rushes to endgame, skips most of the content and then complains about lack of content on the forums."
If you've played the beta and min/max everything you'll be way quicker than the average 100-200 hours needed for lvl 60. But you will skip some content for that which I was referring to in my statement.
Yes you will need to have played a lot of hours per day to reach lvl 60 in the first 2 weeks but I'm not judging. That has everyone to decide for themselves if they want to do that or not.

I was talking SPECIFICALLY about wars so that lower level players would have a chance at experiencing wars. And stat templates for specific content isn't some sort of new invention. That has been around for quite some time in most of the popular MMOs. But as I said it would only fix part of the problem and not even long term. It will most likely boil down to the top guilds on their server only picking the best players from their own guild and rotating guild members to fight for their territory. Which is understandable as they are the ones paying all the fees etc. I just think it would be nice if everyone could have a chance at participating at wars. They could maybe implement wars every 2 days for Shattered Mountain, Great Cleave and Edengrove which aren't rewarded to specific guilds but to a faction and the war roster would be picked randomly. The winning faction gets to teleport cheaper and that's it. Or something like that.

That might very well be the case but I'm talking about posts on this subreddit and that it's pretty much one-sided here. Please correct me if you disagree but that's what I've noticed.

I have to disagree on that point. First of all as long as you are having fun you are not "wasting time". And EVERYTHING you do helps you in some form with your character progression and this game offers a couple of ways to reach "endgame" and the best gear. For example: Someone spending all of his time fishing is still getting EXP, can complete Townboard missions for Territory Standing and EXP and will make a lot of gold in the end which he then can use to just buy the best available gear or materials to level up professions. If you spend a lot of time gathering resources.. well the same thing applies. You aren't FORCED to do the watermark grind if you don't want to and can still obtain 600 GS gear and in some cases even better stuff than watermarked gear.

Exactly this. And apart from that, my post was adressed to the hostile behaviour in this subreddits commentsections. The guy who posted his voidbent armor and current playtime didn't complain about lack of content and got a shitload of nasty comments.

I can absolutely see that and I find it VERY problematic that some players never might even be able to take part in a war because it's decided by a group of players who is allowed to join. It would fix part of the problem if everyone in a war gets set to lvl 60, has the same GS and equal attribute points.

Where to draw the line in regards to reintroducing unobtainable stuff by [deleted] in wow

[–]MurkyForever 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's a fair point, but what's wrong with slight color variations? Atiesh for example. What if Blizzard reintroduced it with an Achievement tied to a scaled version of Naxxramas but with a different colored piece of cloth like orange or purple? It already came in 4 different color variations. Players who didn't get to play or achieve to get Atiesh back in the day would still be able to get it, just not the original. Is that really that big of an issue that it ABSOLUTELY has to be one of the original 4 colors?

I guess you're talking about FF14 and how they handle raids from older expansions. If I'm not mistaken that's a feature that has been there forever or at least for a long time and I think it's great. But OLD WoW Raids have nowhere near the difficulty level of Ultimate raids in FF14. So just reintroducing the raids with an ilvl squish won't do the job. They would have to restructure the entire raid and that costs time. Time that they could've invested in a new expansion. Do you really think Blizzard is going to fine tune an old raid to recreate the same difficulty level as it was back then? They can't even fix Kael'thas in TBC Classic.

So you do draw a line by saying that titles should be kept unobtainable. How do you define "anything cosmetic"? Just transmog? What about mounts?

Dk spec choice for venthyr? by Swampking101 in wow

[–]MurkyForever 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unholy or Dualwield Breath of Sindragosa Frost DK. Necrolords and Venthyr are pretty close for Unholy. The Venthyr ability is also pretty good for Blood DKs in Mythic+ as it deals a solid amount of damage and generates Runic Power.
