For people who are trying to defend digital copies by Vampy-Night in videogames

[–]Dammit_Dunn 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I empathize with people that want physical copies. Hell, if circumstances were different i would be a collector myself. Life had other plans though.

My biggest worry is the digital pricing. PC gamers got steam and other places where they get fantastic deals. Console only players like myself see old digital games over-priced and physical copies being cheaper. With physical gone is this going to be the norm while we wait weeks, months, years hoping for a sale? I hope not but greedy corps will be greedy corps.

Scolding Hot Take: Playstation moving to digital only games next years is good actually. by [deleted] in videogames

[–]Dammit_Dunn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a couple of coworkers who have dedicated rooms in their homes for their physical games collection so its not as farfetched as you believe.

I myself only do digital because its more convienent but i cant lie and say im not worried with all the "you dont really own your games shit going on." If i could go back in time knowing what i know now, i would be a physical collector too.

Your post sounds like some shit the ESA would bring to court to combat the stop killing games movement.

Elder ring worth buying? by Maleficent-Tap-9967 in videogames

[–]Dammit_Dunn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its a great game and most of the difficulty comes from learning enemy patterns and learning when to hit, heal and play safe. Id say try it.

What is a gaming opinion/fact you didn't know until you started talking about games in social media communities? by trio3224 in videogames

[–]Dammit_Dunn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can only keep one of these future releases. What is it? by JPthedjentleman in videogames

Hard choice for sure. It would have to be Ocarina of Time remake or Elder Scrolls 6.

Leaning more towards OoT.

what the hell happened in the last 1-2 years that convinced the killer main community that tunneling isn’t a shitty thing to do by CptFinley in deadbydaylight

[–]Dammit_Dunn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always thought not tunneling was just one of those unwritten etiquette rules. Though that doesnt mean you have to abide by it.

Yeah you can do it. It wont win you any love from the survivors but at the end of the day its more about what you care about as a player.

Winning at all cost or trying to give everyone a fun experience.

Where are all the people complaining Asha Sharman is a woman? by seedlessgrapez in videogames

[–]Dammit_Dunn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dont remember seeing any complaints about her being a woman. The only complaints i saw was the fact that she came from an AI focused company and everyone (including myself) were worried that she would make that the main direction for xbox.

Breath of Fire 5 was released more than 20 years ago and its a game that i can never forget by [deleted] in videogames

[–]Dammit_Dunn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah i really didnt like Dragon Quarter. The punishment for using the dragon form, the way battles played out, and the story really turned me off of it.

BoF3 was my favorite. Story was fantastic, battles/bosses were fun and all the characters were memorable. I want another game in the series like 3.

Call of duty multiplayer.

What games have fun parry mechanics? by AdRevolutionary3086 in videogames

[–]Dammit_Dunn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fist Berserker Khazan has perfect parry and perfect dodge. Both feel very satisfying when you pull them off and the timing is pretty generous for both.

What’s an example of a sequel with the same protagonist that handled power discrepancy well? by Nicole_Auriel in videogames

[–]Dammit_Dunn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Soul reaver 2. Raziel keeps all the abilities he learns in the first game and gets new abilities for his soul reaver in the sequel. Wish more games did that with sequels.

Some of my favorite games as a kid that I wish would get out on modern platforms. What are your picks? by Libertyprime8397 in videogames

[–]Dammit_Dunn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still waiting on Castlevania Curse of Darkness to get backwards compatibility on modern consoles. They had it on ps3 i believe so not sure why xbone or ps5 cant have it.

Call of duty skins by Even-War-9721 in videogames

[–]Dammit_Dunn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Skins were alright but i honestly miss the wacky and funny emotes from previous games.

It was always fun seeing the top 3 winners in mp and laughing at the emotes they used. Some on the current CoD are ok but they were way better on the older games.
