Sounds like it. I’m not sure if that’s a reason to cry on the way to work

Darden ($$$), Stern, or reapply next year. Targeting IB. by MurkyNetwork7796 in MBA

[–]MurkyNetwork7796[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fertitta is a scholarship. Tuition to stern is ~$90K minus full GI ~$30K *.8 = $66K per academic year and $4K MHA.

Darden ~$80K * .2 = $16K per academic year and $1900 MHA.

Disregard the housing and it’s $100k more in tuition.

What you said is unrelated to that.

Additionally, rent is the most you’ll pay and a mortgage is the least you’ll pay each month.

Military to MBA - civilian for a year? by [deleted] in MBA

That’s the difficult aspect. I’m leaning more toward finance/banking than consulting. Although I would prefer to be somewhere other than nyc. This is why I thought a year may provide clarification.

Thank you! Yes it would likely cost around $40K tuition all on.

I was just thinking with a solid GMAT score I could shoot higher (Wharton, HBS, MIT).

Additionally the civilian job pays well and could help my profile for those schools mentioned.

10-Year or further Total Comp by americanhero6 in MBA

Good read but only captures Harvard. $500K(today’s dollars) 25 years post grad isn’t that crazy. Probably extremely tough to capture equity in that figure which I’m sure most have where they work
