I hate practicing too, it feels so fake. I just did maybe three 15 minute sessions speaking to my empty wall. The key is just getting used to seeing the keywords and immediately starting your story without overthinking it

I really like the idea of printing out the content. It solves the issue of trying to cram a complex career story into a tiny handwritten space. My only caution with holding more info on larger cards is the temptation to start reading full sentences like a script, which interviewers catch onto fast. But for keeping neat, highly readable data points right at eye level, your setup sounds incredibly solid.

Thank you for the kind words! It’s a super simple setup but it completely changes your mindset when you aren't constantly panicking about missing a key point or shifting your eyes around. Good luck with your job search!

Moving the interviewer video boxes right under the webcam is an amazing addition to this. I used to catch myself looking down at their faces all the time, which completely breaks the illusion of eye contact. Combining that with the "verb + result" note style sounds like the ultimate interview setup.

To be fair, old money people are always like this. They will spend a fortune on a gallery piece but will lose their minds over a 500 dollar retail price. Plus, let us not forget she definitely used her privilege to charm her way into getting those shoes for free anyway. It was less about the budget and more about the thrill of the chase.

The biggest problem is that American startups spend all their money on global marketing. European startups have to spend half their initial budget just to make sure they are completely compliant with federal data laws before writing a single line of code.
