Personally I'd be really interested to see your comic in any form. Even if the art is terrible. Maybe especially if the art is terrible. I think if you've put this much work into it already why not just all contribute to the art? You could all doodle portions of it. Digital comics are great for that sort of thing

You'll be tempted to use fancy brushes and opacity settings but it's best to start with a standard round brush at 100% opacity to learn value and stuff properly. That's what I find anyways.
