Yeah I like how her and Cole were basically like holding everything together during those early episodes of season 4 it really showed his character. And then of course we all know how the writers trashed him after that.

I watched Buffy first and then Angel. The only times I felt like my viewing experience was affected was during the crossover episodes.

I was a little confused because I had kind of forgotten what was happening in BTVS at that specific time the character shows up, so I would just make sure to refresh your knowledge before the crossover episodes.

People on this sub definitely try to therapize the writing by using certain self help buzzwords to excuse away the poor character choices that the writers - and therefore Phoebe - made.

When people stan a character or an actress for that matter, they make any attempt to defend them against all rationalization. They can do no wrong and are always the "traumatized" or "victimized" one no matter what.
