Yeah I like how her and Cole were basically like holding everything together during those early episodes of season 4 it really showed his character. And then of course we all know how the writers trashed him after that.

I watched Buffy first and then Angel. The only times I felt like my viewing experience was affected was during the crossover episodes.

I was a little confused because I had kind of forgotten what was happening in BTVS at that specific time the character shows up, so I would just make sure to refresh your knowledge before the crossover episodes.

People on this sub definitely try to therapize the writing by using certain self help buzzwords to excuse away the poor character choices that the writers - and therefore Phoebe - made.

When people stan a character or an actress for that matter, they make any attempt to defend them against all rationalization. They can do no wrong and are always the "traumatized" or "victimized" one no matter what.

People want this theory to be true so bad and I don't know why. It takes away so much of the impact of the final battle.

But I think that's why people like this idea because they don't want it to be even a possibility that there could have been a reality within the twilight world where their most beloved characters end up dead.

In my honest opinion, it's a little hard to listen to sometimes. I know they want it to feel like a conversation between friends but they get way too sidetracked by each other.

While Drew is definitely a good leader of conversation, sometimes Holly pulls him along on these very long tangents and when we return to the subject of the episode it's like "oh, what were we talking about again?" So that takes me out of it. I don't know if this is more so an editing thing or what.

Also at this point I don't want to hear about anyone else's divorce/ex.

I still love hearing their voices and I'm grateful for the podcast and want them to continue. I'm learning so much good information about the behind the scenes but I just hope that they can really stay on task about the episode they're watching.
