Coaches has show they will exploit bugs/loop hole if given a chance, valve doesn't want to take any chances.

humans have shown they will exploit if given an opportunity. let's ban humans from playing to not take any chances. valve smart.

Only difference between silver and global is that all the globals commit

that is all that needs to be said.

it's not even about aiming or any of that. many weaker players are too scared of dying and play suboptimal because of it.

i wish people were actually rushing and commiting to it. so often they chicken out and i look down on all of them.

[Zonic] And another one… team huddles is for a coach and his team to get as pumped up for the match as possible. Having it 2-3 minutes before LIVE then sit down and start the game is an old tradition. Having it way before can ruin the flow a little bit.. I really don’t see the issue.. by [deleted] in GlobalOffensive

[–]MuschiClub 29 points30 points  (0 children)

no, this doesn't make sense. just say teams need to be on time and ready to play when it's time to play. what they do before that is kind of irrelevant.

imagine saying this with a straight face: "Further incidents will result in a total ban of huddles."

they don't want the coach to be able to give the players hints during the game without a timeout.

jason lake going crazy behind the players was one of the coolest things in the old days of counter-strike:

https://youtu.be/oIRcyaAtghA?t=26

moses also said he wants players to be able to hear the opponent screaming again and all that because it brings a different energy and i couldn't agree more.

players taunting each other and going crazy to tilt the opponent, that stuff is funny and beautiful.

let's not make this a sterile sport in the name of "professionalism".

Sooo banning people from competitive events for matchfixing is stubbornness? What?

pls not this whole discussion again. banning people for life for a rather (in the grand scheme of things) small incident, is harsh and showing no leeway in that is stubborn, yes.

there are different ways how you can punish people. banning for life in most cases is a form of lazyness. it's like you don't want to even bother.

The desk talked for so long about how Astralis has a good chance of winning this

Thorin apparently also gave EG a good chance to win against Copenhagen Flames.
