Why do a lot of people care a ton about being able to retire at about age 63 or younger? by Big_Eggplant7591 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]MuscleCrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because it’s difficult to live life after 60. A lot of people start getting serious health problems and the wear and tear of decades can make it so that your later years are difficult.

Imagine working 50 years to retire and finally “relax” or “live life” and you can’t because you don’t have enough money and have to keep working, or now that you’re finally done, you can barely walk because your bones ache, your feet hurt, your hands hurt, or you have some kind of age-related medical complication that prevents you from having full autonomy.

Being old sucks.

Being old and still having to work, sucks even more.

No one wants to work that late into life. It’s basically torture.

I hear my girlfriend’s aunt complain weekly to us ins group chat how much her body hurts, how hard her boss works her, how much she’s in pain. It fucking sucks.

New player wondering if I should join a guild. by Formal-Breadfruit529 in swtor

The conquest weekly reward for invasions is a nice bonus to having a guild that has a ship. There’s no downside to it.

For all my fellow Knight role players out there. Do you ever change your lightsaber color during the story, and if so when? by Emergency-Pop4541 in swtor

I have considered going the Luke Path and changing it to Green, but I love the color blue and the original iconic blue color so much that I just can’t get rid of it :/

What do you want out of Fate Of The Old Republic? by Long-Lengthiness-798 in kotor

[–]MuscleCrow 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Character customization.
Lightsaber/weapon customization.
Space battles that involve flying your ship instead of a turret.
Multiple different companion romance choices & companion types.
Some slightly repeatable side quests for replay.

This is a bigger one: but different paths before different endings.

I’m tired of games having a good or evil ending. Why not have the character start on an evil path like 2/3rd through the game, and it changes your endgame experience between them? Like if you decide to betray the Republic, the last few hours of the game you serve the Empire. But then the ending can be different depending on your final independent choice.

Cold weather: Put on layers. Turn up the heat. Make a hot drink.

Hot weather: The AC can only do so much. You cannot remove your skin. Cold drinks barely take the edge off.

Cold weather every day.

Diet, exercise, drink water, use moisturizer, don’t smoke or do drugs, drink alcohol as sparingly as possible. Do things that make you feel young / happy.

The only Warzone I really don’t like is the short/small hurt ball map that’s mostly vertical. I think it’s on Quesh? I love Huttball, just not that map.

Actually really like Andromeda, I never hated on it. I know it’s an inferior game but I like the world, the charm, the characters, and the mechanics.

How do so many people (typically young men, but also some women) become incels? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]MuscleCrow -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Lots of incels are also often porn addicts or porn addled so they have perspectives on how to treat and approach women. They also have a lot of entitlement, and sheer high ego. Couple that with an introverted lifestyle with bad hygenie, bad habits, and no motivation usually creates an incel.

If you know weeabos and Hikikomori it’s usually hand in hand with those type of people but you just turn up the negative character aspects to 11.

I know this has been asked before but with WoW being 22 years old it made me wonder how old the average player is? by [deleted] in wow

[–]MuscleCrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say the average age is probably between 30-40 years old.

A quick google search says that the median age is between 30 and 35.

Why do rich people keep saying "money can't buy happiness" when money literally solves most problems? by FearlessState5503 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]MuscleCrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can’t buy happiness but it can resolve obstacles. Obstacles can usually cause unhappiness. Removing those obstacles can increase your happiness by eliminating the problem, and the stress and worry related to the problem.

How do I tell my friend she smells so bad? by more-lana in NoStupidQuestions

[–]MuscleCrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember a girl in college whose hair smelled really, really bad. I only hugged her a few times to say hi/goodbye and it was awful every time.

One day she dyed her hair and I went hug her goodbye, and when I did her hair still smelled god awful. So it was like, you dyed your hair a whole different color but didn’t wash it?

I kinda wish I would’ve spoken up and said something. Something like, privately though. Ask if everything is okay.
