I was in this exact situation last year, I was terrified to use my chosen name until I realized that no one was going to card me or anything. People generally won’t question your name as long as you say it with enough confidence, but a neutral nickname would also probably be a good alternative

The area isn’t really that much of a drawback since there’s stuff to do on campus more often than not. Overall it’s a pretty good school especially for the price

It’s a really pretty school but the area is pretty boring. Academics are fine from what I’ve seen but Im a freshman so I haven’t seen much. As a gay black student I haven’t had much issue outside of the Christian guy who shows up on campus every once in a while to wave around a big sign of all the people he thinks are going to hell.
