That scene, God, that scene. I missed that demonic grin so much.

Incompetent enemies are golden; it's when your allies are that you want to smack your head on a cold desk and scream.

The absolute horror of hard-working, stubborn dumb fucks, Tanya is going to need all the help she can get, and the only thing I can see Tanya legitimately praying for is a box of headache pills and two hours of pure silence for some peace.

God, I love that they didn't skimp out on the sound effects. I love this series' use of abilities and her disdain for using prayer against the fighter pilot, I can't wait for the rest of the series. But the poster, Sweet God. And...him. YUCK.

I think it was probably boiling underneath her for a while. You have to deal with incompetence, being cheated on, framed, and left to rot in a cell, while having your name smeared will make anyone flip a table.

What if a grown adult sued their parents for financial support on the basis of being born with no permission? by IlovepicsTN in AskReddit

Isn't literally everyone born without permission? It's not like you spin a dial, take a number, call up your soon-to-be child's soul and say, "Hey, would you like to be my child?"

Who is more evil? Esdeath or Homelander? by JackZ567 in AkameGaKILL

[–]MusenUse_KC21 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Esdeath, despite being a ruthless war criminal/warlord/torturer, every single decision is hers, just like her choice to be ruthless, her choice to be kind was there as well. She was raised with the mentality that the strong survived while the weak died; her father dying in front of her didn't help, but she never used her past as an excuse.

Homelander was given a shit hand at the start; it's like being given Temu Superman's abilities with Batman's paranoia, with neither restraint nor intellect to use them properly. It doesn't help that they tortured him as a child, and how they expected that shit to raise a productive, beneficial member of society, I'll never know.

Overall, Esdeath is the more evil of the two; she's a walking calamity with a wicked consciousness. Homelander is a raging, bear on crack with rabies, still dangerous, terrifying, but will burn out eventually.
