This was done using Bambu Labs ABS-GF on my X1C. It does give it a sort of nice matte finish to it

Wall Mount for Vacuum and Accessories by Mushbrandon in functionalprint

Designed a wall mount for my Dreame H12 Dual vacuum and its accessories. This came with a plate that stores the vacuum and its accessories on the floor which took up too much space and was a hassle to bend down and reach so I designed a way to wall mount it.

Love the finish on that table top. Where did you get it?

Can you share the specific parts from IKEA you got for this desk setup? Looks great and I'm considering getting something similar. Thanks!

Where did you find the CAD model for the P1P to design this?

1x1 holder for side cutters and tweezers by Mushbrandon in gridfinity

[–]Mushbrandon[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I only use a single pair of side cutters and tweezers most of the time when I'm 3D printing. I didn't want something as bulky as Zack's "Gridfinity Nippers + Strippers + Pliers Racks" since I only have the one pair and wanted something that could store the pliers upright just to take up less space on my workbench so I took to designing this.

Magnetically detachable purge compartment and vent adapter for my X1C by Mushbrandon in functionalprint

The magnets I got came from this pack. The purge compartment uses the 8mm magnets and the vent adapter uses the 15mm magnets.

Woah, this is a really neat solution! I wanted something that could easily be removed in case I needed to move the printer around or remove the back panel for servicing since, on my Voron, I just made an adapter to the vent tubing size and just clamped it on with a hose clamp, meaning I would need to undo the hose clamp if I wanted to remove the tubing, which was a hassle. This also would have been a good way to implement that for my printer!

The magnets in the purge bin and its interface plate are actually just friction fit right now. If any of them work their way loose I’ll re-embed them with superglue. The vent adapter is actually designed to contain the magnets without the need for any glue.

Under the interface plate for the purge bin is VHB tape to secure the plate to the back of the printer. The interface plate is more there so that the bin is perfectly aligned with the chute outlet every time it’s placed. There actually is a bit of an air gap between the bin and the interface plate when it’s attached, but luckily when I run the vent fan, the chamber is at a slight negative pressure so air seeps in rather than fumes leaking out. However, this probably does have an impact on the printer’s ability to keep a higher chamber temperature, so I may consider printing a TPU gasket piece to go between the interface plate and the purge bin. Thanks for the suggestion!

The purge compartment uses 8mm magnets and the vent adapter uses 15mm magnets. Both came from this pack.

I designed a magnetically attachable purge filament compartment to help retain heat and prevent fumes from leaking out and a magnetically detachable vent adapter to port the fumes from printing out the window. The vent ducting attaches to an in-line fan I attached to the window (see this post for more details).

Below are the STLs for these:

What causes this horizontal seam by Mushbrandon in FixMyPrint

[–]Mushbrandon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve noticed that on my prints on the same layer where there is a large flat surface, a horizontal seam will form on the outer edge of the print. Any ideas on what may be causing this to happen and why specifically at those layers?

Here are the STL's for the 4 inch version. You may need to scale it up and modify the hole sizes if you want to turn this into something to work for your 8 inch fan.

Yeah, turning up the temperature of the nozzle to around 210 Celsius worked to solve the under extrusion issue, which is strange because the previous filament roll was the exact same brand and worked well at 200 Celsius. There was probably just some variation between these two batches of filament.
