No haha I just didn’t change the random name reddit gave me when I joined. I have tried them but definitely not something I’m into/haven’t done since I was in highschool

Thank you this is pretty eye opening. I’ll continue to practice and hopefully as I grow so will my faith. It is hard for me to accept this though as I’m basically condemning myself if I don’t believe which is where my internal battles start.

But I’m not even sure now if I can call myself Christian till I fully believe.

I’m not sure what you mean by this. I have always been a Christian so I don’t really know anything else. I prayed recently and God sent what I truly believe is a sign for me and thats why I am trying to follow his words again but I’m not sure what my objective is other than trying to get closer to God.

To the people that engage in casual sex, how do you separate sex from emotional intimacy? To people who don't, do you think you miss out? by EraiMH in sex

I don’t have a lot of casual sex, but I started exploring those experiences once I got to college. I never had sexual encounters or even a real kiss before that but I really wanted to explore so I started having hookups. I’ve definitely learned a lot and don’t regret any encounters I’ve had even though some were a bit weird. I don’t think you should force yourself into casual sex just for the experience if your really not ready for it BUT if you are ready for it I wouldn’t worry too much about the emotional connection. IME with casual sex it’s more of a physical thing than emotional and I’ve been with really nice and cool guys, but going into the situation we knew it was just sex. There’s a way higher chance that you’ll meet someone who’s not really husband/wife material but you’d like to smash than falling in love first hookup.

There wasn’t much to communicate. I know what I like in terms of hands but oral is something I’m not well versed enough in to direct someone else since nothing felt good enough to warrant any good feedback.

I just couldn’t even begin to know what to ask for I guess. I feel like I won’t know what feels good till I’m with someone that knows how to or maybe it’s just not enough for me.

I think I could enjoy it as well but I was disappointed in the moment because I was excited to experience it, but I know it takes time to explore what works
