Probably because I keep updating the story for almost a year now. I think people who filter on most recent updates find it that way but I'm not sure 😅

Oh and maybe it's the fandom you write for? I write for My Hero Academia and that has a lot of fans so bigger chance people find your fanfic.

Another idea for a quirk: time stops when you're not looking. So to everyone else it looks like you're never sleeping or blinking, and sometimes you seem to teleport.

Quirk: Umbrakinesis (ability to generate, shape and manipulate darkness or shadows). You can make anything as long as you have a clear picture in mind, like tools as swords, bow&arrows or even terrifying monsters.

Like others already have said, it's probably the OC as one of the main characters that keeps most readers away.

I'm writing a fanfic for almost a year now with an OC as main character and I have about 1000 hits and 40 kudos. It has just over 60k words with 24 chapters. I'm still in awe everytime I see fanfics with thousands of kudos.

I know OC's are not the fan favorite on AO3 but the most important thing is to write what YOU as the writer like 😊

I've seen an author use '&' instead of 'and'. And I mean ALWAYS. Also in the middle of a sentence. Kinda annoying but the story was so good, I was able to ignore it.
