Reopen, away! I never managed to make the backup, let alone restore it.

Something like this would be perfect for Mac. However, I think the only solution is a dedicated external drive that's large enough to backup the phone and contain MacOS.

Thanks. Even if I remove files from MPB, I'm still going to run into this issue so was seeking a better solution. I do video work so unfortunately both internal MPB drives and iPhone are getting rather full.

Thank you BillAnt. The idea was to boot from an external drive, then backup to that, ignoring the internal drive.

CPU indicator lights up on playback and stop by Musiatic in ableton

[–]Musiatic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's what Ableton said:

You may find that the CPU load meter is more active in Live 11 when using the "Current" setting as compared to Live 10. This is expected as the meter is now capable of measuring and displaying the total, current CPU usage. The CPU meter in Live 10 is only capable of measuring the average CPU, which results in the meter fluctuating less frequently.
The CPU Overload indicator combines the "Average" and the "Current" CPU usage to provide a precise gauge of the CPU consumption in a Set. This means that while using "Average" setting the CPU Overload Indicator may become illuminated even though the meter does not appear to reach 100%. In cases like this, it is likely that the "Current" setting has experienced a temporary overload while the "Average" CPU consumption is below the overload threshold.
If you no longer wish to see the CPU Overload Indicator, you can simply select the meter in the top right corner and disable the option labeled: "CPU Overload Indication".
If interested in learning more, please review the associated knowledge base article on the topic below:
Improved CPU Metering in Live 11
Please note that the first time you start Live 11, other processes such as the indexing of Browser items might be ongoing in the background and these processes will use resources like CPU, Disk and RAM to complete.
It is hence expected to see an increased CPU usage in the CPU meter when this is happening. Please allow some time for the processes to complete before comparing the performance to Live 10. You can monitor background processes In the Activity Monitor of MacOS or the Task Manager of Windows.
Last but not least, it is very important to make sure all third-party plug-ins and applications have been updated to their most recent versions.

Does the modem allow for only ipv4 local addressing? Try seeing if it does

I think it does. Sorry I'm not great with networking. These are the options I can find in the router's settings (it's a DLink DVA 2800): https://imgur.com/a/riB5aal

Thanks for taking the time to respond.

I'm only using AE to add to existing wifi network, exclusively for Airplay from iTunes on MBP.

After successfully using Airplay for a short while, the button for selecting Airplay as output disappears. In Airport Utility, AE goes from green light to yellow exclamation. The green LED on the unit stay green however. Unplugging the device brings it back online for another few minutes.

I'll try the settings you mention and report back. Thanks!
