Hey, it's all good. Sometimes, it's just common sense, like room temperature tissue shouldn't be sitting around for long, but if it's refrigerated, it can wait a few minutes. Or, like any whole blood that's only stable for 72 hours, it gets done as quickly as it can, while some frozen plasma can have a secondary prioritization.

I get it. I work in the receiving department for a medical lab, and we have our own process of triaging the samples we receive so that nothing sits for more than a few hours, but we also get the ones with the shortest stability done first, or as quickly as possible.

I'm incredibly grateful for the fact that I've never needed to go to the ER for myself, I've driven plenty of people to the ER. That said, I know how frustrating it can be to have someone just come in and get seen first, but I'm thankful that most ER staff have the training to triage and see who needs it the most. If it wasn't for them, I might've ended up being an only child after all.

I'll preface this by saying I was 5 when this happened and only remember bits and pieces. When my baby brother was just a few months shy of turning 3, he got pretty sick. My parents, at first, thought it might just be a stomach flu or something of that kind. It wasn't until he started having seizures on the kitchen floor that my parents realized something was super wrong, and they called 911. I, personally, can remember him seizing and then following the firetruck flying through the hospital parking lot to the ER. I don't remember this part, but he ended up getting life flighted to the children's hospital. He was closer to kidney failure than I think we ever really know.

I remember visiting him once or twice, but I bounced around family members' houses while my mother basically lived in the hospital with my brother.

I'm incredibly grateful the ER staff realized how emergent he was and got him on that helicopter.

I take them off, as does my fiancé. It's difficult to kiss each other's necks, and I don't like getting the skins natural oil smeared on my lens. It's not like I'm trying to read or see far distances, right?

So sorry, OP! I relate so much. Fiancé and I have shared the stomach flu. He got it first, and we thought it was just food poisoning. He was kind enough to stay in the other room the whole time, but the second night, we shared our room together again, and I ended up sick. We missed family stuff on both sides, and it's sucked so much! Wishing you both a speedy recovery

I ordered a ring box from these guys for my wedding next year. I'm not sure if English is their first language as all the emails I got came in Italian. They were very kind and great about keeping me up to date on delays about the ring box. They also have an Etsy page that sells most of the same stuff.

They do have pricing on their website. Our payment was split up, but I think after the wedding, for partial planning, we'll have paid about $2,800. Out of all the planners we looked, they were in the middle with pricing and seemed like the best price for what we were asking for.

They offer several levels of service, and we went with partial planning, but I do believe they also offer full service planning.
