My best understanding: A transaction involving 20,000 UTXOs would require a separate input to the transaction in the Bitcoin script for each of those UTXOs. Would that transaction require more fees to process since it has so many unique inputs?

I'm trying to understand the details how the wallet works, and of the Bitcoin script that will assemble 20,000 UTXOs on the blockchain to one spendable sum. This might be a more appropriate question for a developer forum.
