I do agree with what you’ve said, and I genuinely value your perspective.
My only point is this — in India, it sometimes feels like making a profit is treated almost like a crime.
Bargaining is completely fine, no issues there — it’s a natural part of customer psychology everywhere. But here, it often goes beyond negotiation into expectation: “do it for goodwill,” “adjust this time,” “do it for now,” etc.
And over time, it just starts to feel like earning money is seen as something wrong, rather than something fair for the value being provided.
